I used to love this place, I really did. Â Good food, friendly staff, stiff drinks, pool tables, great music on the weekends, always a fun crowd. Â But recently, in the last few months, things have slowly changed.
Undercooked food, slow service & watered-down, over-priced pours is what my friends and I experienced this previous weekend. Â It was all we could do to get service. Â I had to go up to the bar and ask for a rag and cleaner to wipe down our table because it was covered in some sticky substance, after the server failed to clean it when we asked. Â All but two of the pool tables were boarded up...on a Saturday night of all things. Â The incorrect change was given to two of us by the bartender...not once, not twice, but three times. There were two guys working the door; one was nice enough, the other was a total, complete douchebag and vocally disrespected the establishment for whom he was working.
2 stars for still having great music, pool tables (?) and a fun crowd. Â Sadly, I will not be back.
I liked this place. Â We had very good pizza here and they make a good gin & tonic. Â Â Down to earth, casual, relaxed come as you are ambiance. Â Most folks looked to be locals. Â Service is very good. Â There are about a half dozen TVs with sports on them. Â
Update: Â We went back and decided to have burgers - they were borderline acceptable, so I moved my rating down one star.. Â Next time, it's back to the pizza. Â Â
Also, on another evening, we found out that if there are members of your party under 21, they are not allowed in after the band / dancing starts (which I believe is around 8:30 PM.) on nights they have live music. Â There is a cover charge on live music / dancing nights after about 8-ish.. Not sure how much as we went elsewhere.
