Mr.P's has karaoke on thursday nights.  I really enjoyed this club.  They serve food the entire time they are open.  The people that attend are a mature group that enjoy a variety of music.  The KJ is experienced and professional.  They have contests we veryonce in a while that are fun based.  I generally avoid karaoke contest because I sing for fun.  Take a bow karaoke makes the contest fun.  The prises are small so it does not bring out everyone from miles.  They are themed so it forces you to sing new songs.  I took my neighbor there one evening.  He had so much fun he called two more friends.  They only serve beer and wine.  compared to the club down the street, this one ismuch more fun.  On Frid ada y nights they have live jazz.  I have noticed they see to rotate in big time live acts that normally would not be likely to play in a club in Tracy.  I think the owner must really be trying to bring some musical tallent to  Tracy.  Mmy only complaint isthe food; however after talking to the waitress, Dee they really changed the food for the better.  CLOSED in 2011
Review Source:Wow! What a great find!
We were out for a back roads drive on memorial day, and wanted to eat in "old Tracy". Not much was open, but we found Mr. P's (thanks, Jennifer D.!)
We ordered from the appetizer menu - AWESOME! We had both some chicken wings and some catfish. Both were deep fried to perfection - juicy, but not greasy. The coating was very thin and well seasoned. A dash of hot sauce added a great touch. The french fries (ask for them - not on the menu yet) were also very well done.
The setting is great - billiard room in the back, video juke box tucked into an alcove. The front room has a nice high ceiling, and a ceiling fan turning away. With some nice blues playing, it was the perfect spot for a nice warm day.
