Queen Lounge

Use cash and pay after each drink!!!!!!!!!!  4 times my card was significantly overcharged for beer. The young girl who claims to be the manager, brags about taking advantage of the "old" owners as well as her nightly abuse of the local law enforcement. Locals have reported they will not return until the facility is under new management.

Just off Main Street sits this bar. Originally built around the turn of the century, it was an implement store. Then in the 1930's, it was converted to the finest Hotel in Eastern Colorado. In 1980, it became the Queen Lounge. Benefiting from the spectacular interior lobby of the hotel, this is a drink parlor of distinction!

Look down and you'll see the massive octagon tile floor with the spectacular hand-set sprawling patten. Looks up, and you'll see one of he finest tin ceilings in the state. And in between is the luxurious mill work that only dwells in fabled old buildings like this.

This is a classic locals bar. County competes  with classic rock on the loud juke, bawdy busty dames work the bar. Its bustles with authentic hat wearing cowboys, oil field rough necks, cheesemakers, truckers. People who make America go. Youl'l be welcomed and shots will pour. Be careful.
