R & A Cafe

Nice little Americana style diner.  Breakfast was cheap and "ok" - not the best - but not bad.  Plenty of food.  Prices were a little high but it is a touristy town.

The thing about this place is its not bad, but It just doesn't have anything that grabs me. All their food I can make, and I prefer what I make... but that doesn't stop me from eating here if my friends are going out to lunch or something. I do not complain when they say lets go to the R & A cafe.

So if your looking for some standard american food, the R & A is a good choice... Its just not my first choice for food in the coulee.

Good Mom and Pop fare, low prices. Fries are especially good.  BLT was only $3.75, RA Burger got 4 stars from my husband.  Reuben was good, French dip and chicken strips too.  My family of 6 left satisfied, though maybe a few morefries would have been good.  The building looks dilapidated but service was prompt and food good, so it was worth the stop.
