Our favorite road trip for grassfed burgers, homemade buns, and dessert

I was very disappointed about my experience at Rainbow cafe.  I was excited about going and left less than happy.  First, the grass-fed burger seems as though it's a frozen party and it's no thicker than a 99 cent fast food burger. It had a "film" on it from the fryer that I had to scrape off the burger and bun with a knife.  I received about 10 thin cut fries.  I had vegetable beef soup that amounted to nothing more than broth.  Finally, my beer was outdated since May!  Left after paying a fifty dollar check and will have to think about whether I will give it another chance.

Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Extensive and interesting wine list with complimentary tasting before purchase.

I love that they use locally grown, grass-fed, organic foods!

Living only a mike away, I think Rainbow cafe is going to become my second home!
