My husband and I, along with another couple checked out Ramblers Rest for the first time last week. We loved it! As good as it gets when it comes to great Irish food. Excellent beer selection too! Our server was spot on and the food came out in a timely manner, very impressive for a busy Friday night.  The manager was friendly and greeted us throughout our dinner asking how everything was.  We will definitely be going back very soon! Great find!

Just rolling through the area on business. Great stop. The community is lucky to have such a great atmosphere to enjoy amazing food and seems like great people too.

Outstanding. Not from the area but always pass it on the way to the Ukrainian Cemetery. Stopped in w the family for lunch - atmosphere is great and the food is awesome. Order the wings as an app - you won't be disappointed!

Stumbled across this place on the way up to the Catskills.  Ordered a couple of beers and some food. Hot pretzel sticks and the salads were great. Some of the better food I've had at an Irish pub. Good looking bar and the bartender was really nice too. Would definitely return.

New to the area, my wife and I stopped in on Monday for date nite.  Wow nice place!  Service was great.  Chicken pot pie is a must try.  Think we found our new hang out spot.

Wow!  What a great find.  My in-laws brought me here on a Friday night.  The service was great, as was the food.  I had the turkey dinner and wings for appetizer.  As we were leaving, a live band started to play. The bar scene looked nice and I would like to return when they have the band back.  The selection of foods pleased everyone's picky eating habits at the table.

I have driven past Ramblers Rest on many occasions and decided to stop by there last weekend. The restaurant is clean and is set up beautifully. The server was very attentive and helpful. The chicken wings (black and tan) were delicious. I would order them again. Dinner was very tasty as was dessert. I will definitely be back! We needed a great Irish restaurant/pub in this area. And this is it!

First time stopping here with my wife last week and it was yummy.  I ordered the Irish Sampler for dinner and the Shepard's Pie and Irish Sausage were very yummy!  You could tell that the Shepard's Pie was homemade because my wife got it as well as it had the same flavor and consistency!!!!  Not as many Irish Beers as I would have thought on tap but overall great visit that will have us coming back for more.

Very good food and a fun place to hang out. There are not to many places to hang out in the area. The only food I did not like that I have had here are the chicken wings but everything else is great!

Good place to get a drink and hang out with friends. The food is nothing to write home about. The salads are good and the apps are ok but, it's probably the worst Reuben sandwich I've ever had. So, I would recommend this place if you want to go out drinking with friends or if you want a pub style, laid back dinner with drinks. Just don't have high expectations for the food.

Finally, another decent bar in Monroe. For a town that has such a large population there aren't too many good places to eat around here.

The atmosphere at Rambler's is really nice. Very Irish Pub like, but modern at the same time. It is MUCH better than the last bar that was in that spot. The bartenders are always attentive, they have a great selection of beer and the food is excellent. They can make any sandwich on a wrap and they do a great job. The wings are really tasty as well. I wasn't a huge fan of their barbecue sauce (tasted like it had mustard in it) but it was not horrible and the pork was pretty good. They have a great selection of food on the menu so I will try some different stuff next time I am there. Wednesday night is trivia night which can be a lot of fun. It gets everyone at the bar talking and socializing and you have the chance to win some gift cards. Overall this is a great place for a bar type atmosphere or a good restaurant for a family night out. Cheers!

First, the place is gorgeous, very clean (especially the restrooms) and such a cozy atmosphere. Secondly, the staff is so friendly and welcoming -- huge plus!  Always on top of things making sure you're "okay" - but not overbearing. We ordered a few appetizers - all delicious! What a great place to go out for dinner, happy hour or a night out. I was very impressed with everything, from their huge selection of beer, their overloaded menu, the decor and cleanliness.

This is a great Irish Pub, the barbecue menu is great. They have a family platter for $45.00 that feeds a family of six and it's out of this world. This is a great addition to the area.

Its nice to see a place to eat pop up in monroe that you can go sit down at. An irish pub non the less. The wait staff was great, the bar is big and has plenty of beer on tap, although some dogfish head would be nice. The food is A bit sad but for around the area prob one of the better places. we went on a trivia night, sat in a boot by the bar ... Had a great time but didnt win the 50 dollar gift card. this place ia quite decent id say check it out, but have reasonable expectations....

I had lunch at Ramblers and had a wonderful experience; good food, atmosphere and an attentive waitstaff. The decor is clean and fresh and there were lots of smiling patrons. Well, it is St. Patty's Day after all!

It may be a bit loud for your average working lunch (again St Patty's Day), but hey, it's an Irish pub, what do you expect! Complete with a big bar and a area to throw real darts I think this is a nice find.

Anyway, all around it was a good time and I am looking forward to the next visit, hopefully it will be in the evening so I can partake in some of the finer point of Irish-ness...the beer! :)

    Slainte!
    I LOVE the Rambler's Rest!
What a sight for sore Irish eyes in Orange County, NY!  Smithwick's and Guinness on tap, full menu of Irish faves!  The atmosphere is old-school Irish pub, the clientele are upbeat and friendly.
Live Irish music on Sundays - bring the family!
Oliver (the proprietor) is a top notch guy, very friendly and available to the customers.
What can I say?  Newly opened, a welcome stop for these smiling Irish eyes!
    Slainte!
