The Ranch, Mexican Food & Full Bar

We always have a good time at The Ranch, either as patrons or as the entertainment ourselves.  The food is much improved since it is now all Mexican food.  Comedy night has never let us down.  We are treated like family and respect all the hard work the owners put into it everyday.

Went there for the first time the other night with my wife. The place has potential but the bartender that I had to deal with was a joke. I am a firm believer in taking care of people in the industry. I know people who work in bars have a hard time, often get lousy tips, deal with ass holes and get  flirted with by just about everyone....so, to set my presence, i often tip a 20 up front, put down a credit card, then tip a little something at the end. This chick took my 20 and was a complete bitch the whole night.  Usually by taking care of the bartender I get decent drinks and a little bit quicker service when the bar gets full...not here. So, trying my luck, I tried again....gave her another 20 half way through the night when the bar got really packed, asked her to take care of my friend, my wife and me...still no better service....so for 40 bucks in tips, crappy drinks and a trashy bartender I definitely won't be driving back out to this place.  I will give my money to the hard workers who actually deserve it.

Went to the Uncle Cracker concert last night on a work night, show was scheduled to start at 6:30. We expected the main show to start at 8. THEY DID NOT come on the stage until freeken 10:10. No chairs or tables, notta, we had to stand for 4 hours and buy $7 or $8 drinks so the owner could make his money while we had to stand and drink for 4 freeken hours. We will not be back and we will warn everyone we know, go late as there is no seating, buy the cheapest tickets as everyone has the same shitty standing only view. Drink before you leave the house and get 1 beer when you get there late. And if you are hungry they have a 6" tri-tip sandwich for $10 whippie!
