Returned after 24 years. Very good pizza. Friendly and good service. Avoid the garlic cheese bread: a disappointment

Natali's Front Bar doesn't have it's own listing, so I'm including this here.

Ran in when a sudden hail/downpour hit Red Lodge right before we arrived. We managed to grab the last table and waited out the storm with others in town over pizza and beer.

Despite the fact that the place was pretty packed, the storm was bad, and people were wet, the staff here never made it feel like they were overworked or we were being ignored. Our server (Zack, I think) was always attentive, even checking on us multiple times after we'd paid the bill while we were finishing up our beers. He was running all over the place to keep things moving smoothly. Bravo!

Pizza was big, hot, crispy, and flavorful. The bar had charm and a nice selection of local beers to choose from.

Based on this, I only wish we had more time to spend in Red Lodge.

Natali's Front Bar is great.  Typically seven or so taps of Red Lodge Ale's plus a full bar.  The bar is very nice, and would be four stars by itself.  Though I don't think the pizza is very good.  The Pizza Co and bar are attached, and you can order pizza at the bar or next door at the restaurant.

The restaurant part is more family friendly, and has a lunch buffett as well, if I remember correctly.  The best thing I have had is the aps.  Toasted ravioli and pepperoni rolls being the best of the bunch.  The pizza is greasy and not very good IMO.  It will do if in a large group, but I would prefer to have a few drinks at the bar and some aps.

Spent an amazing day in Yellowstone, and drove through Beartooth road late at night. After that exhausting day we got to Red Lodge Pizza Co fairly late at 9:30pm. We were nicely greated.
    The wings were great.
    The pizzas were amazing.
    The beer was awesome.

Highly recommended. Certainly one of the best pizza I've ever had - and I've had my share. I liked that we could get half/half specialty pizzas.

Fab variety of draft beer, super pizza and salads. Friendly wait staff. Full marks all around.

Great pizza! Actually the best we've had.  The crust was wonderful, not too much sauce, and fresh toppings. The waitress was really attentive and thoughtful.  We have been to other places for pizza in Red Lodge, but we won't any more! None of them come close to Red Lodge Pizza. We live in CA and have never had pizza this good, there or anywhere else!

We've been here for pizza over the last three summers and it's always a great pie!

I'm not sure how they make their pizza but the crust is crunchy and yummy and the veggies are cooked but yet still crisp. It's great cuz it's not mushy or runny at all!

Add a Red Lodge Ale with your meal and you can't go wrong!

It's an okay pizza company, nothing compared to mckenzie river pizza. Had the lunch buffet and the pizza was just tasteless and dry. Probably would have been better to just order a fresh pizza

Really good pizza, friendly service, regional brews. If I was a local I would eat here all the time.

Great pizza and local brews!  Post office themed, very kid friendly with a few arcade machines.  The back room might have been a little quieter if you want a kid free meal.  The pizza was fresh with delicious crust and sauce.  Will definitely return on our next trip to Red Lodge!

REALLY good pizza and calzones, good salad bar too.   Our favorite is the Rural Route (italian sausage, red onions, mushrooms, black pepper).  Sometimes the service is slow so try not to be in a hurry.  Spend a couple quarters letting the kiddies ride the mechanical bull.

Wilcoxon's ice cream (Montana made since 1912) is in the freezer case at the front. Stop for that if you don't need a meal.

Everyone from teenagers in formalwear to backcountry skiers just down from Beartooth pass and Harley riders will be found there.

There's a big room in the back for special events and parties.

A pizza joint with hometown spunk!

We ate at Red Lodge Pizza Co. several times over the busy 4th of July weekend.  Service was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious!

I must point out too, that Red Lodge Pizza Co has a much broader menu than its name suggests.  A great selection of sophisticated salads and sandwiches are available with homemade dressings.

Great selection of local brews on tap and the severs are very knowledgeable and can make recommendations if you're willing to be adventurous.  Of course they carry all the regular national brands, too.

If you arrive when they're busy, don't fret; it's worth the wait and the staff keeps the wait times reasonable.

(oh, and the pizza is great!)

Day 8 (June 25, 2011) of our Pasadena City College geology field trip brought us to Red Lodge for dinner tonight. No cooking at camp tonight we wanted pizza. The class of 21 students were given 1 1/2 hour to eat dinner in town. My brother Chris and myself ate with the instructors Bryan and Martha and tonight we chose to eat at Red Lodge Pizza. When we walked into the restaurant it was busy and we had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but this place was well worth the wait.

Our server directed us to a booth and all of us started to examine the menu. After a while we chose to get two large pizzas.

The first one the Rural Route. This one came with Canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms & olives with tomato basil sauce and mozzarella.

For the second my brother chose the Parcel Post. This one came with grilled chicken, bacon, tomato, spinach with pesto sauce and mozzarella topped with fresh parmesan.

When our pizzas arrived they looked and smelled great. The crust on both pizzas were nice and crispy. I like a pizza that stays crispy even after its been sitting for a while. I can't stand mushy, limp crust.

Both pizzas were great. All the flavors of the meat toppings on the Rural Route blended together nicely but I was quite impressed with the Parcel Post.

The grilled chicken was tender and the bacon, spinach with the pesto sauce was a winning combination.

Bryan is a avid meat eater and was a little leary of the chicken pizza but even he thought it was good.

I look forward to returning to Red Lodge so I can order another Rural Route.

Pizza is consistent, service is ok, prices are a little high. That said, it's Montana it's not like you have options.

We had good service and decent food at the Red Lodge Pizza Co.  The prices were certainly fair.  The beer was delicious.  The food itself was just take-out quality though - I expected a bit better after the 2 great reviews here.

We rented a cabin with family and decided to order pizza for 12 one night.

We ordered several pizzas, including the Cliff Claven (marinated barbecue chicken, tomato, onion, cheddar, jalapenos and mozzarella cheese on a barbecue sauce), Mail Bag (pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon and ground beef with a tomato basil sauce and mozzarella cheese), Bulk Mail (tomato, green peppers, mushrooms, onion, black olives with a tomato basil sauce and mozzarella cheese) and Zip Code (grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, spinach, swiss and mozzarella cheese on a ricotta and olive oil base. We also ordered the garlic cheese bread and it was delicious. The jalapenos on the Cliff Claven made the pizza quite spicy, but delicious, and the Zip Code was also delicious. I didn't try the other two as I was full after two pieces and two pieces of garlic cheese bread.

Delivery was fairly quick (an hour) considering it was New Year's Day night and we ordered four pizzas and garlic cheese bread.

    What a lucky find!
After descending from the Beartooth Highway on July 4th, I swooped into Red Lodge just in time to see the last glimmer of the rockets' red glare. It was the weekend of the annual rodeo, and the town was packed with the cast of Brokeback Mountain. I could have stopped in at any place along the main drag (Broadway) for a beer and a sample of the local flavor. But this place struck me as just a bit more laid-back, a bit less weekend-cowboy, and a bit more comfortable in its own boots.

    I was right.

The second most exciting thing about the place was its welcome offering of local beer, many from Red Lodge Ales, a home-town brewery just down the street. The most exciting thing of all, however, was that when I asked a man at the counter which beer he recommended, he said "Anything from Red Lodge Ales, and I should know, because I brewed it!"

That's right, just by chance, I walked into a bar on Red Lodge's busiest night and found not only local beer, but Sam Hoffmann, owner and brewmaster of one of the region's top breweries.

The beer was excellent, the people were excellent, and Red Lodge Pizza, with its selection of Red Lodge Ales, made Red Lodge the town a highlight of the trip!
