The name has changed: now it's the Wagon Wheel but the food, the decor, and the service are all still great. In fact, I think the food is even a little better under the new name.
My Dad takes me here, and we like to head for the booths in the bar since Dad has some trouble walking and also likes to watch sports on all the tvs in the bar.
We arrived one time on all you can eat catfish night, and they serve fiddlers that are flaky white meat and coated in a perfect cornmeal batter. Wonderful!
The steaks are very good, and if you love comfort food, order a side of the grown up Mac and cheese. It's extra special.
I've now ferried my sister and my brother to the WW when we've all been in SoILL visiting our Dad. They loved it, too.
Wow, not bad at all for being out in the middle of the sticks... Â Don't let the other reviews fool you, this is small town America, things move a little slower out here.
The owners have done a great job with this place; very visually appealing, some local art on display in the party room, a gift shop area, and a clean open restaurant to dine in. Â Did I mention clean restrooms???
The menu is heavily written to carry several cajun dishes including jambalaya, ettoufee, alligator, crawfish, gumbo, shrimp, etc. Â They also have fried chicken, quail, and sandwiches, salads, etc. Â Lots of southern style dishes also cover the menu with several southern style sides and desserts.
We had a really nice waitress, she was very nice and helpful.  The food was really good, mashed potatoes were made from scratch, veggies were seasoned southern style, the veggies were delish, and the mac and cheese, ugh, I ordered two helpings  !
Stop at this place and have some dinner!
Sorry, but I have tried this restaurant three times and had a bad experience each time. Â We loved the Feedmill in Morganfield, but the service and quality is not up to par In Poseyville. Â 2 out of 3 times the food was cold. Â The third time it took forever to get the catfish (it was all you could eat). Â The fish was overcooked and the service horrible. Â After we received our bill we remembered that we had a coupon. Â When the waitress brought our bill back to us the check was actually higher. Â They gave us someone else's bill. Â We were in there forever.
Will not try a fourth time.
