The Regent Lounge

This is Statler Hotel's bar/lounge, not to be confused with their full service Italian Restaurant, Banfi. The Regent Lounge serves salads, appetizers, burgers and sandwiches along with an extensive list of cocktails, wine, beer and liquor. Most sandwiches are around $15. This is an upscale lounge, conveniently located if you are on the Cornell campus and want to have a celebratory beer at a fairly classy, but still casual, location. The food, in my opinion, is actually executed better than Banfi. Nothing knocked my socks off but everything was cooked well. If you are mainly interested in drinks, they serve complimentary chex mix, but their sweet potato fries, served with chipotle aoli, are a very tasty upgrade for $6. The service can be hit or miss, as it's an educational experience for the Hotel students.

My major complaint is that recently they removed their only vegan/vegetarian sandwich from the menu. It seems like a bad decision considering all the vegetarians in Ithaca.
