My wife and I had read various local reviews on this new restaurant in an old establishment. We were very impressed! The food was excellent. We shared two plates. One was the brisket sandwich. Best brisket I've had in the area. Extremely tender and just enough smokey taste. Â The other plate was a French Quarter Muffaletta. Fantastic! It was served with a marinara sauce that really rounded it out.
Yes, the decor inside is one of a bar, but an impressive one. Seating is limited, however we arrived just before the lunch rush so we didn't have a wait. There is nothing commercial about this place. It definitely screams local and the food scream EAT ME! Â We will certainly be back. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.
