If you're traveling through a little burg called Snow Hill, North Carolina, this will be helpful. I don't expect many of you will, but if you do, here's a little spot to check out.

Ribeyes is easy to find, right on the main highway. My customers chose this for the lunch spot and since it was their choice, we went. It was a cozy little spot where the tea was sweet and so were the servers.

They have a little salad bar, nothing huge, but if you need something green for your lunch, it will work. I opted for the Pork Chop sandwich and sweet potato. Good call on my part. The pork chop was boneless, but still had good flavor and they got it done while keeping the juices in- which is a tough balance with pork sometimes. It made a tasty sandwich, full of flavor and hit the spot. I am a big sweet potato fan, and my customers told me that the sweet potatoes were grown just down the road. With a little butter and brown sugar, who needs dessert, right? Being in the south, I was also hoping to find turnip greens on the menu, but was a little disappointed there.

I picked up the bill and it was reasonable for 4 people... they also separated it without being asked, which I actually found to be a nice touch for lunch- even though I was picking it up.

Overall, an enjoyable experience, and next time, I will suggest to my customers that we meet here for lunch.

One final note, I can confirm that the sweet potatoes were grown just down the road from the restaurant. As I was driving back to the interstate, I got behind what looked to be a school bus... except the top had been cut off. The passengers were not kids, but were crates full of sweet potatoes. And yes, it looked as ridiculous as it sounds.

This place has some of the best, mouth watering steak ever.  I'm from Kinston, a small town in NC.  Over Christmas, I was at home and asked my folks where they would like to go out to dinner.  They immediately said Ribeyes.  When we got there I wasn't that impressed with the interior.  It was maybe a little nicer than a diner.  But the food was amazing.  The steak was melt in your mouth amazing.  They served Toasted Head Cabernet which is impressive for a little place in the country.  The salad bar was also great. Our waitress was nice and very helpful.  I really liked this place.  I will definitely go back if I'm in the country again.

Have to show some love for Ribeye's... even though I'm a vegetarian.
