Ride And Dine

This little road-side stand makes some excellent fried chicken.  If you are looking for the way grandma used to make it, you've come to the right place.  Take your fryer pieces, dip in egg wash, coat in seasoned flour, more egg wash, more seasoned flour, and into the lard to fry - what could be simpler?

Call ahead for take out or step up to the grandma's window and order your lunch.  They have 2 or 3 picnic tables around for you to sit and eat.  They serve crinkle cut fries with the various combinations of chicken pieces.

Nothing fancy, just down home, road side authenticity.
