River Sports Bar & Grill

I've done some traveling in my years and have sat in a bar or two.  I have never been more welcomed and have never felt as much hospitality in this place as any other.  Dave and his crew are more than fantastic at making you feel you are at home or that you are a part of the local community.  We could have gone further into Pagosa Springs and spent much more money and chatted with someone from out of town but why?  At the River we got to experience the local 'attitude' and a strange kindness I don't find in the big cities.  Would I ever return to the River Sports Bar and Grill?  If I get to go back to Pagosa Springs this place is my number one priority.
Have you ever seen a waitress help out the cook?  Sure.  But have you ever seen the owner help the cook?  You ever seen a cook serve drinks at the bar?  These guys help each other out so much that I want to help as well.  I wish them the best of luck and hope to return as soon as possible.
