I can only echo the many other comments made about this restaurant.  This is by far the best restaurant within 30 miles and rivals the better restaurants in Raleigh.  The service was very good, the ribs were excellent, the pork chop was very large and flavorful.  We really enjoyed the hush puppies and the many sauces. If there were one area for improvement that this restaurant needs it is its curb appeal.  If we did not have very specific directions we would not have found the place.  The kitchen faces the street and the entry is from the side.  Could use a more prominent sign and a entrance and front of the building with more appeal.

Went with my brother & sister-in-law while I was in the area.  Nice decor in a renovated downtown building.

I ordered the River Rub Chicken (two chicken breasts) with macaroni & cheese and mashed potatoes, and the other two ordered the fried catfish.

Minimal wait for the entrees which was made nicer with a bowl of hot bread and hushpuppies.  My chicken was moist with just the right amount of flavoring from the rub.  Real star of the meal was the macaroni & cheese with a superb flavor.

Very nice option in for dining in Warrenton.

My family and I had a great dinner at Robinson Ferry last night.  The food was wonderful.  We started with a basket of scrumptious hush puppies and homemade rolls.  My husband had the full rack of ribs, which were superb - smoky, fall-off-the-bone meat coated in a spicy-sweet rub.  I had the 10 oz ribeye steak - grilled to a perfect medium-rare with a pat of flavored butter dripping down its sides.  My mom had the mirin-glazed salmon, also cooked to perfection.  We enjoyed tasting their selection of six different barbecue sauces:  Asian, honey-habanero, Southern sweet, cider blend, NC mustard, and traditional vinegar-based.  Sides we tried were yummy:  onion rings, garlic mashed potatoes, blue cheese potato gratin (oh, my!), grilled vegetable medley, green beans (spicy!).  The décor is nice casual, the service was very prompt and friendly.  A lovely evening.  We will be eating there again!.

"Excellent! We came here while on vacation camping because it was so hot and we needed to cool down. Boy were we not disappointed. The food was just as everyone on the reviews said it was. The barbecue was smokey and delicious. We would come back here again for sure.

We discovered Robinson Ferry Restaurant while doing our very best to get off of I85 and avoid fast food.  Oh, the fried cat fish sandwich, BBQ sandwich, fried okra, and onion rings with a cold iced tea was exactly what we were looking for.  And a lovely discovery of a charming little town we never would have discovered if not for the Yelp review of Robinson Ferry.  Well worth getting off the highway!

A shining gem in Warrenton, NC! Never thought I'd see a place like this in my old hometown. From the antique-chic interior design to the enticing beer and wine menu to the overall homey-yet-intimate ambiance, this is a restaurant that I'd expect to see in Raleigh or Durham.

My family and I came for a Sunday lunch, served family-style. We had juicy fried chicken, perfectly seasoned pork chops and crispy catfish. For our sides, a fresh garden salad, mashed potatoes and fried okra. Each dish was cooked to perfection! Even the okra nay-sayers said the okra was excellent.

And then... dessert!!! After so much great food, I didn't have room. But folks at our table raved about the berry cobbler. We left STUFFED. And very happy.

This gives me an excellent excuse to return to Warrenton to visit family and friends.

Went for the first time last week on recommendation of my neighbor, and really enjoyed it. It's been open since June. Good variety of American Southern dishes. I had a ribeye, and it was cooked well - meaning it was the medium rare I asked for :-) Grilled veggies had more than just 2-3 things that you'd normally see in other restaurants. Others in my party had burger with bacon (really good), ribs (big portion and tons of sauce options are brought to the table), and pork belly over grits (really an app but good size.) Hmm, I'm the only one that didn't have some pig! I think most of the pork comes from Hight Farm in Warren County. Wish I knew where to buy some of that Macon Bacon! I tasted my sister's jalapeno potato soup, yum. The cream of asparagus was a little 'thin' but the flavor was ok.

The restaurant is located right in downtown Warrenton, which doesn't have that many options, so this is a great addition. The atmosphere is good. High ceiling and rustic wood work. Bar with 2 TVs in the middle. We'll be back.
