ROBLES MEXICAN RESTAURANT

I had the worst food poisoning of my life after eating here one night. None of my three companions were affected (even the one that I shared the fajitas with). The only difference that we could remember is that they all drank with straws and I drank from the glass.

Ok, it can happen anywhere, but a few weeks later my cousin ate here and had to go to the hospital with food poisoning that night.

I can't bring myself to try them again.

We were driving back from Dallas to Houston and already had bbq at Woody's Smokehouse on the way there - so we decided to try out this hole-in-the-wall TexMex place.  We walk in and there were only two other tables so we were skeptical of the place.  

We look over the CHEAP options, the places starts filling up!  It appeared there were a ton of regulars showing up after church let out.

My fiance said they had the best tamales he's ever had.  I was pleasantly surprised with my taco salad with fajita chicken.  The salsa was not chunky (as I like it), but it had a great kick to it.  The queso was perfect.  The prices couldn't be more reasonable.
