Great spot, place was packed when we arrived but food was served promptly, still warm, and quite good.  Also, singer was perfect for the Rocky MTN Mellow Mood covering the likes of Jim Croce, Gordon Lightfoot  and others in that genre.

So yummy!!!! LOVED EVERYTHING! We started with the bacon wrapped dates hmmmm and hummus. Then the delicious spinach salad. And for the wonderful finale of incredible filet mignon with the peppercorn crust and red wine reduction with mashed potatoes. Everything was amazing and our server did a top notch job!!! :) obviously I recommend this place!

pulled into the parking lot and it was full and people were parking on the side of the road.  I expected about 20 or 30 minute wait but the hostess seated us immediately.  The staff waited on us promptly and brought us warm bread with cinnamon butter.  I ordered the strip steak which was done absolutely perfect.  My wife had the trout with dill sauce and it was excellent.  For dessert we shared the strawberry shortcake which had homemade shortcake which was still warm when they brought it to us, and homemade topping.  The wait staff was very efficient, worked well together, and kept checking on us to see if we needed anything but not to the point where they were hounding us.  Combine that with excellent food and this place gets 5 stars !!!

We yelped local restaurants on the way to the hotel from the park. You won't be disappointed! The reviews are right on. We ordered the devils on horseback, hummus, filet, and flatiron steak. The hummus was just ok, but everything was the bomb. Our server, Chelsea, was great too. The filet and devils on horseback were excellent. Neat atmosphere. Definitely would recommend.

Nice place in the middle of nowhere. Went there for a late dinner and beer.

They did not really have any exciting beer but their beer was not bad. Food is a tad expensive but the portions are great.

I recommend the sweet potato fries. :)

Wonderful, eclectic mountain joint.  A very popular bar with impressive selection of beers. Menu with a lot of variety, and food with a lot of quality.  This place can get really packed in summer evenings with the tourist added to the local regulars.  Good choice, if you can put up with the summer crowds.

Very pleased with the options, variety, and vegetables they offered. I loved their special rosemary chicken wrap, and falafel when they had it. Not a boring dinner place like everywhere else in EP.... but you will pay extra for it.

Go here. I brought my husband here for his birthday and we loved everything. Definitely try the Devil's on Horseback(bacon wrapped dates)! The honey brie is nice too. Usually I hate the live music restaurants usually bring in, but when I was here they had a guy singing Gordon Lightfoot covers and he sounded great. Really nice ambiance all around. I can't wait to come back.

Poor quality of food; way too expensive. Bun for burger nasty and old, meat terrible. Would not recommend.

Good food, good local beer selection,  vegetarian friendly. Prices probably reasonable for the area (~$23/plate).

Food was good, service was great. Prices reasonable.

This place has both great atmosphere and good food. I love the rustic feel to it as you walk in. All of the wait staff are really nice and helpful. The music was fun, but not so overwhelmingly loud that you couldn't think. As for the food, great options, tasty and fresh. I would love to go back and try some other options next time I am in town.

The only aside is that the place is very popular and tables turn slowly when people are waiting for the music to start. We waited over an hour. No prob, if you don't come starving and just enjoy a drink from the bar. We'll definitely be back here sometime!

Definitely the place to go if you've got a group looking for a good meal in Estes Park.

My experience here was super positive. From the bartender who was totally helpful in helping me choose a beer to the complimentary cinnamon butter, my memories about this place are all pluses, no minuses.

I got the pan-seared trout, which was very good and comes recommended. But my friend who got the prime rib let me take a bite of her steak, and I've gotta say.... damn. That was a good steak.

Because there were 9 of us we had to wait a while (maybe an hour?), but a couple of us got drinks at the bar and another group went to play a little miniature golf nearby. It worked out really well.

It wasn't even too loud. (We weren't there for any live music.) If I'm ever back in Estes Park with friends or family, I'll 100% definitely bring them here.

We loved this place!  It has a rustic "cabin" feel, and the live music wasn't overpowering and provided a really entertaining and romantic dinner atmosphere.  Also, they have amazing local beers on tap!

My husband's flat-iron steak was delicious, and we enjoyed the funny "devils on horseback" appetizer (dates stuffed with garlic and wrapped in bacon).  Our server was also very attentive and friendly.

This was one of the best places we ate in Estes Park!  My husband and I will definitely be back!

Rustic atmosphere.  The variety of beer was excellent and the choices and recommendations from the waiter were perfect.

The wait staff was friendly and quick.  The only real negative was when we got seated there were a ton of tables open in the restaurant, and the hostess sat us right next to another family.  I would have thought that they'd set people away from each other, so that you could have your own conversations and such.

We started with the Devil's on Horseback appetizer, which was Garlic stuffed, bacon wrapped dates. Served with homemade garlic aioli dipping sauce.  I thought this was a little on the overcooked side and the bacon was a little burned.

The pan seared trout while tasty was a little over-priced in my opinion (especially for the local area at $22.00) and my special that I had of ribs which was tasty and only $23.00 was perfectly seasoned and doused in bbq sauce how I like it.

    Overall rating: 4/5

    Service: 4/5
    Price: 3.5/5
    Food: 4/5
    Beer: 4.5/5

I visit Estes at least once a year, and try to eat here each time. I love the roasted beet app with feta, sunflower seeds, and mandarin oranges. The roasted corn dip is another great app. The entrees are flavorful as well. I like the sandwiches and salmon. The Rock is more flavorful than many restaurants around.

One tip, it is popular (bc it's so good & has live music), so go early or call ahead esp with a larger group.

Willing to bet this is the best restaurant in town, but I could be wrong. It was really nice, there was a bit of a wait, but I'd say it was completely worth it, comparing it to some of the other grim places we ate at.
    Bacon wrapped dates pretty good.
My trout with dill butter was really great, the salmon special was good but overcooked, French dip was good.
Big issue with the menu was that they say they cook burgers fully... Which is the reason I didn't get one.
    Good service, nice ambiance. Recommended

    Really cool tavern!
    Excellent service, friendly welcoming.
    Very good meat and meals!
Live music... Unfortunately the guy playing that night gave me a headache but it was probably bad luck!
I recommend this place, the flat iron stack and the chicken Marsala!

This was the number 1 reviewed restaurant in Estes Park.

And I'm glad I consulted my fellow yelpers.  The pictures on here don't do the place justice.  When you walk in, it's actually nicer than I thought a tavern would be.  Reminds of of restaurants you would go to after church.  Wood furniture and decor, animal hanging on the walls, and Christmas lights surrounding the dining area.

Every night there is usually live music.  It's not hardcore rock but soothingly light rock.  Great place to grab a drink and just hang out with pals.

Came here with my husband and was greeted promptly.  I don't know what the other reviewers complained about, the night we went we had awesome service and the food came out pretty quickly.

The devils on horseback were NOT that good.  Bacon wrapped dates that we can replicate at home.  Rather greasy to be honest.

My veggie burger was DELICIOUS though.  Thick patty with plenty of flavor.  The quinoa that came with it was rather watery and bland but, it was all about the veggie patty at that point.

The bread pudding was tasty as well.  Thick, soft slice of it drizzeled with this cream sauce.  My only complaint was that the bread pudding was warm but the sauce was cold.

Either way, the service was great.  The music wasn't too loud and the food wasn't bad at all.  A fun place to eat at if you are in this area.

Great place near the south entrance to the park.

Fun vibe with live music. Pete Stein rocked with some singer/songwriter tunes.

Good beer selection, filet and New York strip, and wonderful sides/salads.  The flash fried new potatoes were heavenly. Lots of other options available.

Will be back next time we're in town for sure!

Our waiter was full of advice about where to snowshoe up in RMCC.  Great dude.

What a great joint. We went here while we were staying around Estes at the YMCA center and this place was fantastic.

    - Devil's on Horseback (bacon wrapped dates with garlic aioli) were so rich and excellent
    - Roasted beets were phenomenal with pine nuts and assorted spices
    - White pizza was exceptional for the price and delicious with sausage
    - Bread served with cinnamon honey butter is phenomenal
    - Drinks are CHEAP and there is a reasonable "non-pub/brew house" selection (5 or 6 drafts, more bottles and wines). 4-6PM is BOGO happy hour and they even have wooden tokens to redeem if you can not handle your freebie - I love the thought.

Only reason this place loses any points, as service was great, is the steak my fiancee got. It was absolutely cooked correctly which I respect, but I would say their steaks are overpriced a little. Good? Yes. In the range they are charging? No. While researching restaurants I get the feeling they can do it because of the steakhouse market (or lack there of) in Estes Park. Supply and demand I guess. If we had not ordered steak it would be a 5, otherwise consider this a 4.5. Great, great joint.

So this was my final meal in Estes Park over the holiday weekend.  It seems I saved the best in town for last.

The atmosphere here is amazing--it's exactly what a small mountain town restaurant should look like.  Logs, moose heads, the whole lot.  You walk in and you just feel comfortable.

The service was great.  It was Christmas Eve, the place was full, and our waitress was still at our table when we needed her.

The menu is pretty expansive and contains something for everyone.  I'd consider it high class bar food.  There's your bar staples like burgers and pizza but they class em up a bit.  The only drawback to them classing it up is that they fluff up the price a few ducats.  It's probably just the miser in me, but I find it hard to justify 12-13 bucks for a cheeseburger and a sliver under 20 for a buffalo burger.  That all being said, the food was delicious.  The burger was the perfect bar burger--large, hand formed, lightly seasoned, slightly undercooked.  I couldn't have asked for more.  The fries were slender, pomme frite style, and scrumptious.

The beer and wine selection is vast, although I was a bit underwhelmed by their draft beer choices.  Regardless, if you're here for a decent beet you're covered.  I went with an Isolation Ale, but I was really jonesing for a White Rascal.

For an upscale tavern/bar/restaurant joint this place is quality.

I've eaten at almost every restaurant in and around Estes over the years, but I hadn't been to Rock Inn until my most recent trip. I can now say that it is probably the best food I've eaten in the area.

All of our steaks were great, way better than I ever expected from a place that looks like a log cabin!

The beer selection is pretty good too. I was thrilled that they had a few other New Belgium beers on tap along with Fat Tire; I had a 1554.

I'm afraid our dinner here just confirms my low opinion of Estes Park restaurants.First of all, it's very dark inside, OK, it's a bar, but it was such a glorious day outside, and a little too cold to eat on their patio, which looked nice. The windows are small and don't allow for light or views. The place is designed to try to look like all those early 20th century log cabin lodges, a la Old Faithful Inn, I guess, which makes sense given the location, but it just struck me as ugly and unappealing.

Trout was at the top of the list of entrees, making me think it was a specialty, plus it really appealed to me after a day in the park. It was so not fresh and the bland lemon dill sauce didn't help, nor did the mediocre vegetables and potatoes. The best part of the meal was the french bread with a cinnamon flavored butter. I have to say that my husband seemed to enjoy his pasta, but two days later, he can't remember what was in it. We did get very prompt service. We were there early, 4:30 or so and it was almost empty, but more people came in later. One man asked for his favorite table, and based on these reviews, it's popular, but I have to disagree with the majority.

Oh my fellow Yelpers, you failed me on this one...

After a day of hiking, elk sightings and watching a gorgeous sunset at Rocky Mountain National Park, Brent N. and I were starving and decided to grab a bite to eat in Estes Park. As soon as the service returned to my phone, I pulled up Yelp and the Rocky Inn Mountain Tavern came to the top with a 4.5 star rating average. To top it off, several of my Yelp friends had reviewed it very positively. I wish I had seen Erin H's review, because if I had, we would have thought twice. Unfortunately we had a very similar experience to hers.

We got there around 7:30 and were told it would be about a 20-30 minute wait. That was fine, I mean after all we were coming in on a Saturday night and Estes was hopping with tourists. They actually got us seated in about 15, next to the stage but the host told us not to worry since they wouldn't be playing until 9.

We looked at the menu, and looked at the menu and looked at the menu some more and about 10 minutes after our server came up with water and asked if we'd like anything to drink. We ordered both our drinks and food. I ordered a French Dip and House Merlot. Brent, a beer and a Buffalo Burger cooked medium well and a Cesar side salad. The server explained to Brent that he may want to order it medium since Buffalo can be tough over cooked. So he said sure. She then left to place our order.

"I could be wrong but I thought it was just you cook Buffalo less time to get it to the desired level of readiness, but I could be wrong..." I said to Brent...more on this later.

Another 10 minutes in, we get our drinks and Brent's salad comes a couple of minutes after. It then takes us another 45 minutes to get our sandwiches. To top it off Brent's burger isn't medium in the middle it isn't even rare, it's raw. The outside was cooked, but raw in the middle, which makes me think they don't know how to cook a burger.

But at this point we were hungry, cranky and tired and we just ate...and the food was good. Not amazing, but tasty pub food. I enjoyed my french dip andeven  Brent said the cooked parts of his burger were very good. Had the service been good it would have been 3-4 stars. Probably 3 because of Brent's burger, but had the service been good, this issue may have not happened or at least been remedied. And like Erin H, there was no apology for such poor service. In fact, our server said to us "Yay! Your food finally made it!" She did however, have no problem getting us our check and charging Brent's credit card promptly.

On the upside, the desserts had looked amazing and originally we had planned to split a bread pudding, but at that point we just wanted to get the heck out. So, yay! Calories saved!

Next time, we'll just grab burgers at the McDonald's drive thru on the way out of Estes. I'm not kidding.

No wonder this is the highest rated restaurant in Estes Park, Co. The food was delicious, the service great and portions just perfect. We started with the Devils on Horseback appetizer: it was sooo yummy I was thinking ordering two more for my main dish :) Seriously, don't miss it. I had a potato and leek soup, well as much as I got from it because my 15 month old daughter ate almost all of it. Just the right amount of the leek and the cream. My main dish, the trout, was very tasty and came with a huge portion of perfect sweet potato fries and green beans and shredded carrot that had just the right amount of crunch to it. My husband got the buffalo burger that was perfectly done as well. Service was super friendly, I would return in a heartbeat.
Update: We returned on a second night to find just as delicious food, great service and even live music :)

This was the best meal that I had in Estes Park.  Pan-Seared trout with mashed Yukon gold potatoes and a nice side of julienned carrots with haricot verts.

Beer selection?  Very good.  Dale's Pale Ale on tap?  Check.  I also tried another local brew that was good.  My wife had the Ceasar salad with shrimp.  She was not blown away, but I thought it tasted good.  The kids had a pizza which was also good.

To top off the evening, we were treated to a Bluegrass jam.  The kids loved it.  At least the 8 and 6 year old did.  My wife had to sit this one out with the two year old.  He was in time out....

There are 2 ways to my heart, good beer and good food.  This place definitely wooed me both ways!

Rock Inn Mtn Tavern has a fantastic beer list (see picture) and amazing food!  Everything on the menu is fresh and you can taste it!!  The menu offers hearty and healthy delicious food options which is a rarity to find!  Including steak, humus, homemade mac-n-cheese with veggies, quinoa, burgers and the list goes on...

This place is a true gem and worth a visit, just remember to go hungry and plan on staying around for a while to sit back relax and enjoy the food and live music.  Stop on by for a beer and hang out for a while!!!

The Rock has a great atmosphere with inside and outside seating. The Devils on Horseback are terrific as is the Hummus appetizer.
We usually order the scrumptious Buffalo burger and the veggie melt.
The service is special and happy hour is 2 for 1. I especially enjoy the 1554 beer.
    Bookmark it and return often.

    Hip-flippin-hurray!!

If you can't squeeze in your "free" drink, they'll give you a wooden nickel for your next visit.  Niiiiiice

We initially thought this was "just" a bar as we drove by.  Wrong wrong..
Great burgers & prime rib.  Skinny fries & phat beer.  Horseshoe pit on the patio.  Get a taste of the local Estes Park scene here.

Have been disappointed with the Dunraven recently so gave this place a try based on other yelp reviews. This was even more disappointing. Not only was our meal not satisfying it was also expensive.

Started with the bacon wrapped dates which were interesting and tasty.  We all ordered steaks and our salads came out quickly. Salads weren't bad but not great either.  Then it was literally at least 30 minutes before our steaks came out. Our server didn't even acknowledge the long wait, let alone apologize for it.  The steaks were cooked properly but the 2 filets were cold when they came out. Clearly they had been sitting too long. My steak medallions were warm but VERY heavy on the peppercorns!  (And I am typically a fan of pepper steak.). Then the port wine demiglaze was way too sweet and, at least to my palate, did not complement the meat. The best part of any of our 3 meals was my mashed potatoes.  That should not be the case when you're dropping around $40/person.

Overall I expected a lot better for the price. As a whole, our experience was not a good one. I definitely will not be rushing back. Guess we need to keep looking for a new place in Estes.

Oh wow, the garlic stuffed dates wrapped in bacon are a must-try! They're amazing and I can't wait to try making them at home.

For my meal I got the cowboy ribeye which was perfectly salted and seasoned. It was a little over-cooked for medium but not enough for me to be upset about it.

The sautéed green beans were also super delicious and perfectly cooked. I gobbled those up first actually.

Boyfriend got the pan-seared trout with french fries and he was very happy with his meal. You're really eating fish off of the skin and it's pretty neat.

Ambiance was pretty great and at one point, all these folks with guitars, banjos and harmonicas started setting up and playing. It was awesome.

Overall we really loved this place and it was the best meal we had while in the Rockies.

This is my second time in Estes Park. After spending 3 days backcountry camping in the National Park, my husband and I were famished for a real meal!

Last year, I was disappointed with Dunraven Inn so I wasn't expecting much from Rock Inn Mountain Tavern...but this place turned out to be great! The best Estes Park has to offer, for sure.

    WHAT WE LOVED:
-The Baconwrapped Dates are out of this world! Dipped in garlic butter gives it a succulent kick! We even spread the remaining garlic butter on our bread!
    - Being dark or strong tasting beer lovers,  we had the 90 Shilling - this was a smooth amber ale from Odell Brewing, Fort Collins.
    - The Cut Throat Porter Chocolate Stout was also very tasty -  Tiny hints of coffee with a smooth velvety finish on this beer.
-Their salad dressings are homemade - I had the poppyseed dressing on my generous portion of mixed green salads - very yummy.
-I had the Steak medallions - the meat was tender and tasty with a color side of veggies - i recommend asking for the sauce on the side so you can control how much flavoring you mix with your beef.
-Ambience is warm, fun and friendly.

    WHAT'S JUST OK:
    - My husband has the Prime Rib - it was decent and well flavored but a bit salty.
-Sweet potato fries are average at best.,
    - Donr know what hype is about  the cinnamon butter  - yeah its soft and better than packaged butter, but nothing mind boggling. I could barely taste the cinnamon.

Garlic stuffed dates wrapped in bacon.....this is so good I can't even tell you how much you need to try these.  4 of us ate 12 of them and we could have eaten 20 more!!
Buffalo Burgers were excellent.  Granted, we had hiked all day so we were super hungry, but we all agreed they would be super yummy even if we weren't famished!
Try this place next time your in Estes.  You will not be disappointed at all.

So glad I checked Yelp for restaurants before we headed up to Estes Park this weekend!  Dining in these little mountain towns can often be hit or miss (and more miss than hit).

The space has bigger than it looked from the outside and very bustling.  We got a table right next to the stage (thankfully no music yet).   The menu has a good selection of reasonable priced wine.  I went for a glass of the house Pinot Noir for $5.  Lot's of beers too, I just wasn't in a beery mood.

The boyfriend and I were staaaaarving (the trip up was rainy and longer than anticipated) so we quickly scarfed up an appetizer of cheesy corn dip and chips.  Hit the spot.  I'll probably make an imitation of this cheesy corn goodness at home.

For dinner, the boyfriend went all out and got a steak (New York strip, I believe, but I could be wrong).  I got a bowl of potato leak soup and scrounged off of his side dishes.  My soup was nice and warm and comforting - exactly what I was hoping for on a snowy May evening (yes, snowy).  It had a drizzle of herb infused oil on top which mixed in with the rest of the soup nicely and brightened it up.  He seemed happy with his and it looked like it was well-cooked (not over-cooked, but cooked to order).

Prices were not too bad.  The bigger ticket items (steak, lamb, etc.) were closer to $30 - for a reason, you get so much food.  There's a whole list of sandwiches and burgers for under $10.  Lots of veggie options too.

Our server was very prompt and unobtrusive.  This is a great place for a good meal in Estes (and probably good night life too, if we'd stayed late enough!)

this is why I love yelp.  I just looked at the other reviews, needed somewhere yummy to eat  with my lady in Estes Park.  We went up to the Stanley Hotel and worked up a giant appetite just walking around for awhile.  Unfortunately, the address we entered for the restaurant later wouldn't register on her GPS.  We called several times, and we were told it was off of Moraine, on the 66 highway.  We lucked out and turned onto Moraine after driving through a cute ittle town, and eventually hit the 66, heading up towards the mountains.  A few minutes later we found the restaurant and I had my doubts.  I thought it was going to be a local bar that happened to serve food, and I didn't want to stick out like a tourist.

Inside it was nice warm atmosphere, very roomy, looked like a giant cabin, with a long bar on your right when you walk in.  Over to the left you got a nice fireplace where you can sit, and beyond that a musician was playing some good 'ol tunes.  My date loved a Dylan song he covered later in the evening. It's always nice when your date responds positively to a song being performed, so that just made her extra happy- thought it was worth mentioning.  We sat all the way in the back on a raised platform and I stuck to everything I read online.  I wanted to try those garlic-stuffed dates wrapped in bacon!  I even ordered the beer that was mentioned in another review.

The appetizer was amazing.  Holy crap.  I'm not much of a food critic so I have to use phrases like, "Holy crap"  GET THE GARLIC STUFFED DATES WRAPPED IN BACON with the garlic dipping sauce.  Oh and the bread they served was awesome- with some honey butter spread- sooo tasty.

Everything down the line was fantastic.  I had a buffalo burger with some awesome mashed potatoes.  I forgot what REAL mashed potatoes tasted like, nice and lumpy, but the texture was just right.  My lady had some really good trout that was nice and flaky with some sweet potato fries.

We were excited about the dessert too- we had to try the cuban cigars and the bread pudding.

I liked the cuban cigars a lot, but the bread pudding put me over the edge- the vanilla bean sauce around it made it in-sanely good.  We were about to bust when we finished eating, but it was WORTH IT!  Thank you everybody for the specifics, because it was one of the best meals I ever had.  The service was great, everyone real friendly, I enjoyed the beer- I believe it was the Barrell-something, but it's mentioned in another review.

Plus you got a beautiful scenic drive- just make sure you don't hit any deer on the way home, we had some wander into our path and the dude in front of us slammed on his brakes in time.  That was a bonus to see some majestic looking deerbies strutting their stuff...ok, this review is OVER!

This place is a perfect mountain cabin style restaurant. This weekend the GF and I were staying up in Estes Park for a much needed romantic getaway. We stayed at Misty Mountain Lodge (great place, I'll review that later) and Pete, the man who checked us in, told us we should eat at Rock Inn. We figured he might just be saying that b/c they've got a partnership or something, but we decided to take his recommendation anyway.

Boy were we glad we did. I don't think he sent us there for any other reason than the fact that Rock Inn really is the best place to eat in Estes Park. We had the Devils on Horseback for apps (again, a recommendation from Pete who went as far as to say he'd refund our money if we didn't like them). I've never had something so wonderful. Dates stuffed with garlic and wrapped in bacon. OMG!

For dinner we had a cajun-style trout and chicken marsala. Both were outrageously good. In fact, it might have been the best marsala I've ever had. The place is pricey but worth every bite plus each dinner comes with your choice of starch side and a salad. We had mash potatoes and polenta. I also had a dressing I've never had before; poppy seed. It was also great.

I really dig this place. On top of everything, they had a wonderfully dorky older man playing acoustic covers.

Easily the BEST place to eat, drink, and listen to live music in Estes Park.  I love it so much I am planning my wedding rehearsal dinner here!

The location is warm, cozy, amazing, historic, and there is a patio with beautiful views.

The owners are super nice and down to earth.

The food is spectacular- seasonal, local, fresh, delicious!

AND the happy hour specials are great!

This is my new favorite place to hang out.

Thanks to Laura L's review, my mother and I decided to try out the Rock Inn. Oh. My. God. This is easily the best restaurant in Estes Park. You can find this gem on 66 on the way to the YMCA. It has a casual atmosphere, but don't let that fool you. This is top notch food.

We started with Mandarin Cosmopolitans for both of us. I loved mine - mom decided that she would try another drink next time.

Appetizers - Garlic stuffed bacon wrapped dates. Sounds strange, but trust me - you have to order this. Sweet and  savory yummy-ness. We also got an order of the hummus - very good.

Main Course - I had one of the specials, Colorado Lamb with rosemary and white truffle oil. (cooked perfectly)  I decided on the sweet potato french fries (again cooked perfectly - restaurants tend to over cook them)  All the dressings are homemade - and the Ranch was great - lots of garlic. I swear they could bottle that stuff.  Mom had the Pan Seared Trout with lemon dill butter. She loved it. She had the vinaigrette dressing on her salad and had high praises for it as well.

We finished off dinner with Cuban Cigars - a dessert with bananas, brown sugar and rum - wrapped in a pastry and fried. How can you go wrong?

Our total bill was about 75.00 for the two of us - that includes both drinks, two appetizers, two fabulous main courses and a dessert. All with plenty of leftovers for dinner (and dessert) the next night.

We actually came back the second night and got an order to go of the bacon-date-garlic appetizer to go with our leftovers. They really are that good. Too bad I live so far away! Can't wait until my next visit to Estes Park. We will definitely be back!!
