I don't even know if this place is still open because the never have bands play anymore. Â I don't like it. Â The area where the bands play has around 7' ceilings (which is really low) and when I've played shows there before I've easily hit my guitar on the ceiling a couple times. Â The sound system is good but it's wasted on a terrible building. Â No one shows up and if you can get the 20 regulars to come out, they're too busy drinking in the section of the bar that is technically in the room beside the stage.
They'll let just about any leather wearing, axe wielding, Joe Bob play a show there and I guess they have to or else no one would come. Â They have had some decent acts but they're few and far between. Â This place kind of has some potential but in a different building (if that makes sense).
I've heard the food was decent but I've never had it. Â Overall, if you're looking for a good time with some good music, you'd be better off buying a case and a pizza.
