Just went there on June 28, 2013 (its been two years since i have ate there since i moved out of the area) and like ALL times I have been to Rock Ranch, it did not let me down.  The burgers are all I've had here and they are amazing.  My "old Reliable" is the "Flame Thrower" which is a great regular burger until you get to the heat of the name which are the battered and fried jalapeños, and habanero ranch sauce they put on it! The spicy taste of the habanero ranch and jalapeños do not over power the great burger and all components definitely complement each other.  If spicy isn't for you, they have so many others burgers that I'm sure you will find one to call your "Old Reliable" too! Rock Ranch is definitely worth the stop while passing through on I-80 of if you're local, making it a regular stop!
Review Source:What makes a good place to eat? Well the rock grill has it going on. Service is good and friendly. The steak here has always been the best. Nice size cuts good char and taste that melts in your mouth. The Mexican food is not awesome but it is still good. The chicken fried chicken is a hit as well. Good breading and tender. Flavor is with the food . Another nice thing are the specials they run. Worth the stop.
