I went to the Rock yesterday with my mom for my birthday. I had such a delicious lunch. Garlic fries, my mom had the Hawaiian burger and I had the Gorgonzola burger. The service was great, and the beer was good too. I had the snakebite which is Guinness and pear cider. sounds weird, but it is too good! Our server was very attentive too, which was even more awesome because they were friggin SLAMMED!
I was able to witness a prime example of how not to behave in a restaurant: there was a very rude and impatient party of 6 i believe, sitting right next to us, and they complained about the wait even though their entire party was there for only about 5 minutes. Â The two boys were waiting on the rest of the family for about 20 minutes, and then the rest of the family was there only about 5 minutes before the server came over to get the rest of the family drinks. I guess 5 minutes was too long for her so she threw a little tantrum. I hope the family reads this and questions how they treat people. They also left without paying for their drinks. RUDE!
Really bummed. We just came home and decided to have dinner out. Over 20 minutes passed without even an acknowledgment that we were seated waiting to order. As locals we often recommend the burgers here, which are great!!! Â A simple "I'm sorry", or "I'll be right there" would have kept us there to eat the burger I was drooling over all the way up the hill.
Review Source:The daily specials...we didn't even bother looking at the menu...they had us at pulled pork tacos. Fantastic food...but the portions were a little on the small side. The tacos come two to a plate...the caprese salad was like somewhere between side plate and dinner plate size...not quite enough to fill me up. Regardless...was super tasty and the service was wonderful. Great local musicians here too. Very chill...very fun...and more beer than you'll ever know what to do with.
