  I was in the area, needed a drink, and the allure of neons drew me in.  I knew nothing about the place before entering.  
  
  The bar caters to bands... hence the name.  One large room has a bar on one side and a decked out stage on the other side with tables and a dance floor in between.  There are a couple of pool tables in the corner.  The stage seemed overwhelmingly high tech for this divey place... with lasers, smoke machines, and expensive lighting.
  
  Oh jeez... there's a stripper pole to one side of the dance floor.  
  
  We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks.  The only food offered here is TJ's pizza, garlic bread, and chips.  The staff was older, a bit worn out, but nice.  
  
  I was surprised when the band took the stage... it was the guy that sells me my DJ equipment at Guitar Center.  The band was good & entertaining.
  
  It was super smokey... so much that my eyes hurt and we had to leave.  But we had a fun time.  The drinks were cheap, there was no cover charge, and the live music was fun.
