This place was awful. The service and the food were terrible. Philly cheese and chicken was processed meat and cheese microwaved. The ravioli you had to cut with a knife. The iced tea was like sewer water. Very old and sour tasting. We go to pay and their dial-up Internet service didn't work. They didn't want to take a check. Â They wanted us to use the ATM machine and pay a 2$ fee. Â Really?? Â Then they slap a 20 percent gratuity automatically. Â How convenient.

I'm not sure why there are two Italian places basically right next to each other in this tiny town, but the goofy statue of the guy out front, like a grown-up Italianized version of Bob's Big Boy, lured us in here. Â We were the only ones in there, stopped in and split a baked pasta meal that comes with garlic bread. Â Good sized portions, was plenty satisfying even splitting between us. Â Decent sweet tea too. Â Waitress/server was nice. Â I'd come back here to fuel up at lunch sometime if I'm not in a Hardees mood.
Roma is a family friendly restaurant with friendly waitstaff and a small town atmosphere. The food is good, though a bit overpriced for what you get. I paid $15.95 for spinach over grilled eggplant floating on olive oil, with a side of pasta topped with a dallop of tomato sauce. The meal came with one trip to the routine salad bar, featuring the typical salad bar items and iceberg lettuce.
I didn't try the pizza, though it looked good, and the menu otherwise was quite extensive, including plenty of vegetarian friendly options.
