In Seagoville on business, this will most likely be the most visited restaurant by me while here all week.
Ordered the calzone with ham. Â The even brown crust was fantastic, the char from the stone oven was perfect and the mixture of ricotta and mozzarella was spot on.
The waiter was attentive and not pushy. Â The decor was clean, subdued and quite inviting. I especially enjoyed the water feature.
Thank you Seagoville.
Second visit on Thursday... had lasagna, mozzarella sticks and the complimentary bread with marinara sauce. Â The lasagna was very well prepared, cheese and ricotta was well balanced with a definitely good blend of spices.
Mozz sticks were medium to large and very stringy with only a minimum of flavor, probably frozen and then deep fried. Â The sauce made up for ANY short coming with their lack of spice.
Service was ON-SPOT and never lacking for anything.
Price was well placed, as the entire meal was about $10.00 before tip. Â I felt very good walking away from this meal, even not having the desert which was bountiful, but I opted not this time.
I would refer ANY friend to this restaurant. Three Stars because its a very small town and was completely amazed by the level of service/taste for such a secluded location.
By the way, the decor was very nice and reminded me of Italian restaurants in the north east.
