Friendly staff. Â I had whole catfish and baked potato, which came with white beans and salad. Â It was good but it did not excel enough for higher stars. Â It was hard to break through the crust of the fish, and the baked potato was cold, so the cheese and butter were not melting. Â The white beans and salad were fairly average.

I stopped by the Rusty Fish Hook while riding through Linden and I'm glad I did. The catfish was very light and fresh and the option of a baked sweet potato at lunch was great! The iced tea was fresh brewed and really hit the spot. But the reason for the five stars is the staff. The young waitress was letting her young daughter take the orders, who I might add had great handwriting. It was cute and there were only two table there at the post lunch rush time so why not! Â The young lady kept my tea glass filled and when I went to the counter to pay the owner was very nice and gave me good advise about the park I was heading to and also told me of their great breakfast on Sunday. I'll definitely go back for the fish and the fine folks when I ride that way again!
