We drifted into the Rusty Rim for breakfast one morning and were pleasantly surprised. While the service is a bit lackadaisical the food was outstanding. I had the crab omelet. Lots of crab, crispy sauteed celery and just the right amount of cheese in perfectly cooked egg. This was accompanied by the tastiest grit I have ever eaten. Corn flavored and not bland. My request for a biscuit rather than toast got translated to bacon somehow but other than that quite a good breakfast. My companions had the scrambled eggs and grits also done perfectly.
Worth a visit for breakfast. Other meals may be interesting as well.
They opened in their new location on the 4th of July.  They are above Coconuts and have a beautiful view of the water and a great place to watch the sunset.  They have an expanded menu and the food id pretty good.  They have the best steamed clams special  around 30 for $7.95.  Only open until 8 p.m.
