I was actually pretty excited that Brandon got a new sushi place. So of course, I had to scope it out. When we walked in we didn't have to wait long at all for a table. We ordered the seaweed salad and right onto sushi rolls and sashimi. They were all actually pretty good. The sashimi pieces were a good size but you only got two pieces:-( I'm used to getting at least three, especially for what I pay. The presentation of the food was something I had never seen before. Blue lights under the plates and bowls. I honestly think they could have done away with that. I care more about my food and how it tastes rather than what it comes out on. I'm not eating the plate! I only gave it five stars because it wasn't THAT great and they are somewhat expensive. I can think of other places to go in town where I can get the same quality but at a cheaper price. They have a lot of competition in town....

Review Source:Have gone there several times. Friendly and attentive staff. It's very clean and presentable. The best sushi in Brandon. They don't put as much rice in their sushi, and have bigger portions of the filing. You gotta try the Godzilla roll, Volcano roll, Hawaii 5-O roll, Sumo roll and Tropical roll (my favorites!). Could barely finish 3 chef's special sushi rolls between my wife and I. The prices for the sushi are reasonable. They also have one of the best fried rice and Crab Rangoons around. Big portion servings of the noodle dishes too.
I've eaten in several asian restaurants in cities like Sydney, Manila, Hong Kong, LA, NY, LV and SF. This place is legit!
I love it! The decor and atmosphere drew me in. It's very spacious and clean and they have a large waterfall feature which is very relaxing. The sushi bar is huge and has beautiful light fixtures.
We ordered the miso soup as a starter. I noticed right away that it wasn't as salty as some of the other restaurants. That's a big plus for both of us! We had stopped ordering it at other restaurants because it was too salty. Not the case here.
I had the dinosaur roll, which is filled with panko eel and topped with spicy tuna and fresh avocado slices. It was awesome! I also had the rainbow naruto roll. It's a roll wrapped with cucumber instead of rice and was filled with avocado, yellowtail, salmon, and tuna. It was a light and refreshing treat. A good alternative if you're cutting rice out of your diet.
My mother had the pineapple chicken with fried rice. She absolutely loved it! The chicken was tender and the sauce was very flavorful. We shared the leftovers today for lunch. It was yummy even after heating it up again.
I can't wait to go back so that I can try the tropical mango chicken and other items on the menu. There's definitely alot to choose from.
