If you have a hankering for some stick to your ribs hometown cooking, and you like a little adventure then this hole in the wall is the place for you. Don't be put off by the looks of this place it's worth stopping in I promise you that.
I have passed this place hundreds of times and never knew it was anything but a liquor store I went there with some friends a few weeks ago and man o man am I glad I did. That night I had a BLT that was perfect and a sweet tea. One really cool thing is if you order the tea they point to a ice chest in the corner where you go help yourself, no fancy automatic ice machines here no sir.
Today I stopped in for another BLT that is until I saw the daily special which today consisted of home made fried chicken, mashed potatoes with white gravy, and green beans with bacon and onion, at less than $8 for the special and all you can drink it was a deal. As far as the food goes, yum, yum, yum!
This place rocks and is now my favorite hole in the wall.
Enjoy!
