San Jose Lodge

Well worth the price.  Room was clean but the beds were hard.   Breakfast at the restaurant was reasonably priced and very good.  I was there for one night but would stay again.

Have you noticed if you stay downtown Bisbee you will be paying 180 - 250 USD for a room each night?  That is OK for one night, but once you have seen downtown Bisbee, then consider moving over to the San Jose Lodge about 3 miles east towards Naco, Mexico (if you reach the border checkpoint, you have gone about 2 miles too far - turn around right away!).  This motel is reasonably priced, has a pool, a restaurant, refrigerator and microwave in the room - what more could you want as an anchor point on your daily outings to Tombstone or Sierra Vista?  It is a stones throw away from the Border Patrol headquarters, so it should be pretty safe.  It is very quiet and is very motorcycle friendly.  I used the stay at the Jonquil - no more, this is my new haunt!  Cheers!
