Sandbagger Saloon and Dinner House

Eaten here many times. I live in Crooked River Ranch. Breakfast is great and a good value. Maxine is always great. Be nice. Lunch also is excellent. Have had lunch numerous times. Happy hour is good and good prices. Perhaps my only complaint is dinner. For some reason I have not had a great dinner here. Twice I did not feel well the next day after eating dinner here. Pool tables and shuffleboard as well as poker machines abound. Good consistent environment and food.

Last week we visited The Sandbagger on Crooked River Ranch and there was a hair in our food. I told the waitress but it didn't seem to matter to much to her because I was not offered new food, a refund or an apology. Just a nice friendly chuckle and a y'all come back now, ya hear.

Tonight we decided to give The Sandbagger one more try. We ordered the same thing except this time I called the order in and said we would be there in a few minutes. We arrived and we went and let them know we were out on the deck and ordered our drinks. Five minutes later our drinks arrived. After another 30 minutes we went in to check on our order and it was sitting in to-go boxes on the counter. Disgusted we paid and went back to the deck and as we opened the boxes we found the food was dead. It had been sitting there for a really LONG time. We took it back and asked for a refund and the waitress got upset with us. REALLY?!?! We asked to speak with a manager and there was none on duty. Once again, nothing was said to us to solve this issue. Such as, Would you like us to make you some new food? Can I get you anything else?  Can I offer my apology? I cannot believe this place doesn't care. Consistently bad food and service. It use to be a great place to get a food but I would not recommend it to anyone and if you do go please watch out for the hair and the smart-ass waitresses.

Awesome people.  Great fun, Excelent food.  Best karaoke in central Oregon.  Dinner specials all the time. Karaoke on Friday, Saturday, and Wednesday nights. All you can eat spaghetti on Thursday's. Come join the fun.
