The staff has local wine available which is great!  The food is very unique for the area, and when I say that it's a good thing.  It's a small place which is nice if you are looking for a quite nice time.  Very friendly staff.  Highly recommend if you are on the Chautauqua wine trail and looking for a nice place to eat.

The establishment is CLOSED.  For sale sign is up and locals confirmed that it has been closed since January 2012.

We had a group of eight for dinner.  I have read reviews on other sites that the service was horrible.  Our service was great!!  The food on the other hand...

Three had the Chicken Tortilla soup, which all agreed was just broth and horrible.  I had a salad, lovely greens, but there was no choice in dressing, and it tasted all vinegar with no flavor.

As for entrees, three of us had the tenderloin ordered medium rare.  They were deep, deep red, very, very rare.  So rare they were cold.  Too rare for me, so I traded with my husband who had the Ribeye.  The ribeye was better cooked and very good.

There was no salt and pepper on the table, so we had to ask.  We were brought sea salt without a grinder, so we were chomping on crunchy salt.  

Some pluses:  the atmosphere was very neat.  The wine was excellent and a great selection.  Prices are very reasonable.

Also, it was cold inside.  I had on long sleeves, and I wanted to wear my down coat.

We won't be back.  Sorry.
