Sawmill

One of the best real American diner-style restaurants in Western PA.  An absolute must if you are coming to Cook Forest.   Try a Sawmill Burger...or some traditional soft serve ice cream on a cone.  We camp with my in-laws close by...always try to eat here when I am in town.

We stopped here for ice cream on our way back from exploring Cooks Forest.  Its a small little diner that offers your typical diner type menu.  Burgers, chicken, fried fare; you know, the good stuff. We did not order any food but we all had soft serve of which was great.  They only had chocolate, vanilla or a twist of both.  No variety but I must admit this was good soft serve.  It was very creamy and thick.  All of us enjoyed our ice cream especially the kids.  My 8-year old ask for seconds.  Not a bad little place and Im sure we will at least be back for the ice cream if not to eat a meal.
