Scott's Bar-B-Que

I should first say that this place was recommend to us as we were in Eastman this past weekend for a Horse Show. This place is terrible. As a previous reviewer noted do not eat the Brunswick Stew it looked and tasted like watered down spaghetti, the Baked Beans tasted like they were from a can and the chopped BBQ was inedible due to appearance,  lack of seasoning and the sauce tasted just like plain ketchup. We also tried the Hamburger Steak which tasted plain and gravy like right out of a packet. It took a while for the food to come out which I don't understand because the food was not hot when it was bought to us. My husband sent his food back and got a Hamburger which he stated was not that good. I can say the Tea was good, they do have good ice (as it does make a difference) and our server was nice even when we sent food back. We will not be back, will try something new the next time we are in that part of the area. Yes, we know what real BBQ should taste like cause we have grown up here.

I still like the BBQ. But, the last few times I have ordered a hamburger steak with gravy I have been disappointed. The gravy tastes like it came from a packet and the rest was kinda blah. I hate it because I have enjoyed Scott's many times in the past. They need to expand, because it is crowded and if many people are waiting on take out orders it is crazy. I wish they would hire more help, that way food is ready in a reasonable amount of times. It was 53 minutes from the time I placed a takeout order until it was in my hands. And from other customers that sounds like it is becoming commonplace.

The BBQ is ok here but the Brunswick stew is nasty. It looked like they put spaghetti o's in the stew. I will not go back.
