Fun place to visit every once and a while. Â It's about a 40 minute drive from Naples and you get to drive through the country that I never knew existed in Florida.
We enjoy going out here on Saturday nights to enjoy the live music and play some games. Â Free drinks if you're playing blackjack in the ZigZag lounge. Â The dealers and the pit bosses have all been very friendly on all of my visits. Â
It's definitely not as big or grand as the Hard Rock, but it is a great option if you're close by and itching for some gambling.
Went here twice this week. The first time, we did the whole thing where if you play for 2 hours, you get your first day's play money back in vouchers. Since I'm only in town a few days, we went back and used the vouchers today.... and thankfully, made back everything we lost.
The slots AREN'T very loose, and yes, the people smoking all over the place is gross. I guess it's allowed but I don't think these people realize how disgusting the smell is.
If they always did this "game match" thing, it'd totally be worth it; as it is now, I'm not sure I'd go back, just because it seems VERY easy to lose money very quickly.
I was surprised at the size and how nice the casino is. I was expecting a hole in the wall. Pros were that there were plenty of machines, card tables, poker, and the sushi station was very good. (that alone was 4.5 stars). Cons were that there is no non-smoking area, you have to pay for drinks even if you are playing, drinks, and food are overpriced. And the smallest minimum on the blackjack tables was $10. Â Sad part is that there were a few open tables with no players. I imagine they could fill them with a $5 table. Also, slots don't pay out well. I went through $100 in a hurry just on nickel slots. I understand they will eventually get your money, but it is always nice to get a little more play time.
Review Source:did not go to the casino..only went to check out the bbq festival in back..
only had a few "bbq" stops..some indian crafts and some music...
and the speakers were so loud and pointed right down the middle of the fairway...
so you couldnt even hear the people to order the food...
had some good ribs tho...
I have been to many casino's over the years and the Seminole is not my favorite. The slots don't pay as well as most casinos. They don't offer many perks either.
If you want a soda while your playing...that will cost you money. If you want a drink dig deep because the drinks here are expensive. $8.50 for a so so bloody Mary. $3.00 for an ice tea that you cant take out of the restaurant.
The food at the restaurants is not bad, but again high priced. Most sandwich's run around $13.00 and you don't get anything special for that kind of money.
A decent casino that isn't too much of a hike from Fort Myers. My friend and I took the trip within a couple days of my moving to Fort Myers, and it was about a 50 minute drive to the casino.
Seminole Casino is clean and hassle free with plenty of room to move around. Be sure to get your player's card before you play any slots or table games.
The absolute biggest disappointment for me is that Seminole Casino doesn't have table roulette, nor does it have Big 6. Seriously, I was devastated because these are my two favorite casino games of all time. It does have four video roulette consoles, but they don't give points on your player's card.
Another minor disappointment (more like an annoyance) is that I didn't get a single comp the entire night. It was worse than being at Tropicana in Atlantic City.
I actually didn't experience any problem with cigarette smoke as others have, and let me tell you - I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke, and I'd be the first to complain about it.
this is a casino to let it all hang out. we mainly hung around at the $15 blackjack table, and came out winners! (won $150). i love gambling..so fun! there were also quite the variety of really fun 5 cent slots.
i was skeptical that this might be a sketchy casino but was pleasantly surprised. full of regulars, this is a locals casino, with random visitors from naples (like me). the dealers were all super nice, and security wasn't overbearing.
i was sad beers are $4 at the table (its free in vegas!!) but oh well.
and even though it was smoky, it was fun to light up a clove to celebrate in the winners circle.
yay!!!!
This would have been two stars, but since I last visited, thankfully, it's been expanded. Â If only casinos had to follow the state laws re "no smoking" in bars, restaurants, etc. it might have gotten four stars. Â However, since I lost money (big surprise) maybe two stars. Â I'm confused. Â Actually, it's a typical smoky, noisy, crowded casino like so many others. Â It is what it is.
