Shawnee Springs Winery

A bit out of the way, but pretty.  We tried plenty of samples which were good, but not extraordinary.  They do have a seasonal mixed drink made with wine that shouldn't be missed- sangria in the summer, hot spiced apple wine in the fall.  Don't let your GPS tell you to turn around - head down the road a little further and you'll find the small winery on the right.  They have even started hosting events like Hallowine with a haunted vineyard for the kids!

Almost impossible to find, but worth the trouble. My GPS had no clue! We almost gave up.
We did find it, only after passing it once.

Sorry, if you read the review on the first post, I mixed this place up with another. Sorry. Here's the proper information.

Small and quiet. The "expert" was not there but the woman who was there was very accommodating and friendly but didn't know a great deal about the wines. Even so, we sampled and found a few we liked.

Take the time to find it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.
