Shawn's Irish Tavern

This is a fun place to go with a group or even alone. The beer is cold and the popcorn is good. So are the pizzas. But never, never, order the hot roast beef sandwich and mashed potatos. If you're craving real roast beef you'll be very disappointed.  It was deli sliced beef layered between the bread with a gross dark packaged gravy on top. The packaged potatos and the horrid sandwich was served luke warm. I didn't even take the rest home for the dog.

Actually the name is now Shawn's Irish Tavern.

Great little place tucked away is South Toledo.  The food is always good, with great service.  The owners take pride in the operation, and are always there to make sure the level of service and quality of food is the best. Great for lunch, dinner, or just a few drinks with friends.

A little out of the way location, the outside is deceiving, but once you get inside everything changes.  They open at 11:30 a.m. for lunches and have bands on the weekends.  Your game of choice is always on, and they always seemed to be packed.
