  This typical restaurant tavern can surprise you with some of it's steak and fish offerings. It's had a long history of Wisconsin sized cuts of meat along its several ownership changes in the past fifteen years. Chicken wings are good if you don't mind fried food and their menu is pretty extensive. For the off the beaten path, it's a good dinner time destination following a canoe trip down the beautiful Eau Claire River or a visit to Beaver Creek Reserve, Hobbs Observatory, Weiss Nature Center or Big Falls County Park.
