Shooting Star Saloon

This fun little discovery surprised me. They have one of the best burgers I've ever had! Although they do not serve liquor, they do have a decent local beer selection, and for great prices (I believe a micro is priced around $3.50). The décor is, well, unique to say the least. This place has TONS of personality for being your typical dive bar.

The staff is great. Jenyce was my server the last time I was in, and was awesome!

Decent place to have good food and beer, as long as you bring cash  :)

First the bartender is very rude and doesn't like people who aren't locals. Then my brother forgot his ID but we hadn't planned on drinking there anyway, we just wanted burgers. He refused to let us even stay to order food and take it to go he told us we had to leave immediately. What kind of place does that? We went back another day and he wasn't there so things were nicer and the burgers are pretty good but his attitude really put me off and I'd recommend people avoid this place. It's not friendly.

Terrible service. On a busy day could be a 2 hour wait for a burger. waiting for a beer or to order, you'll have to wait till the tips are counted and do not expect to be acknowledged while the BT is counting.

Yesterday the afternoon cook came in right from the barn, scratched his head, never washed his hands and started to cook.....maybe that is why the burgers are so greasy.
