The Shorthorn Bar & Grill

My husband and i came to spend the holiday here looking for dome place other than the hut found this place and have it a chance and has we did.  Great burger best onion rings I've had inn a long time. Exellent review from us and will be back.

One of two bars that are really a place to hang out in Shaver.  Drinks are cold, people are cool, food is typical bar food.  You can hang with the locals, or speak with the "Mayor of Shaver" while you are there.  All in all a fun place to hang.  Winter time the stove is blazing while the snow is falling.  Great times.

My friend and I went here a few times to play pool while staying in Shaver Lake.  The bartender and other patrons were very friendly and I enjoyed myself.  There is only one pool table (but it seems to be the only bar in town that actually has a pool table).  They only serve beer and wine.
