After camping for 4 days for memorial weekend we decided to stop here for breakfast before we drove back to reality.  This used to be the Round Up Cafe but felt exactly the same with great, friendly service.  My dad ordered biscuits and gravy, which was pretty good.  Biscuit was slightly over cooked but the gravy was GOOOOOD.  I ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich which was very tasty.  It has a sausage patty, cheese, tomato, avocado and egg.  All meals came with either hashbrowns or country potatoes.  This is good down home cooking.  Refills of coffee came fast and often.  For sure will go back next year when we go camping again.

Centrally located on Highways 49 and 89, The Sierraville Kitchen is a great place to stop when in town.  The staff is super friendly, and the place has that down to earth feel.  Friendly for all ages, I feel right at home when I come in.  They have always had numerous specials the times I have gone in, on top of their massive menu.  You can't go wrong with anything on their delicious menu.  Breakfast is my favorite, and I can't get enough of the enormous cinnamon rolls (I always leave with one...or two, to take with me for later).  Definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

This place is great, and consistently. My boyfriend and I come up once or twice a year to stay at Sierra Hot Springs for a few days and eat here a couple of times each visit. The food is awesome, and it's a cute place with good service. Definitely 5 stars!

Sierraville is not a town that you would go out of your way to visit...
I happen to like visiting here with my boyfriend for the neighboring Sierra Hot Springs. Last time I ate here the food was delicious! Highlight of my favorites included (and I must add I am a vegetarian)

Eggs scrambled (some of the best I've had!)
    Fruit platter
    Rye toast with melted butter
Cottage cheese (hard to find at restaurants)
And the bf had a vegetable/seasoned potato dish.

This cafe has a real "home" feeling and that carries over to the food. It's made with love and in a small kitchen where you feel like each order is given special attention. And of course in one of the smallest "towns" I visit for vacation.... everyone that usually eats here in the AM knows each other so it gives a warm friendly feel.

Good down home food, nice people, comfortable atmosphere and they're happy to have you there and make it known.  Nothing fancy but iti s a comfortable homey experience.  Highly recommended.
