Took my very special lady to Silos on Saturday night and saw great Jazz.  Wonderful intimate setting.  Great staff that met me at the door and immediately took us straight to our reserved seating.  We enjoyed the music atmosphere and food and drink.

I purchased my tickets on a Living Social "Groupon" deal, my only minor problem was that there was no way to redeem the coupon via the website.  After about 10 minutes of messing around on the website I called the manager, Keith called right back and walked me through the redemption process which was very smooth.  Keith and the staff at Silo's did a great job to make our evening the best it could be.

LOVE IT! Friendly staff, great sound and lots of fun at a small venue. Some events are fine for kids. Call ahead on that. They do a live band karaoke night once in a while.

This is a really awesome small venue for seeing some live music. We saw a Rolling Stones cover band over the weekend and had a wonderful time, even though we were about 25 years younger than the average age of the crowd. It's intimate, well set-up, and our waitress was very nice. The tables are mostly set for four people, so the two of us were seated with another couple who turned out to be super fun.

Our pizza took forever to arrive, and then we had trouble getting a drink at one point - it took about 20 minutes, our server going back to the bar, and eventually my boyfriend going to the bar, but we were offered a free drink for the trouble and the waitress was very apologetic.

In the end, it was no big deal. We still had a really fun experience and would definitely go back.

What a great time we had sampling wine, and chatting with the knowledgeable and friendly Amanda.  Terrific wine, and wonderful service.  She did a great job of introducing us to special wines, based on our preferences.

I have been to Silo's on several occasions and each time I have had the same experience, they take care of you there.... it's a fun and relaxing evening of music.  The music scene in Napa is improving and Silo's has certainly been a big part of that.

We went last night to see Tim Hockenberry who was awesome. It was our first time at Silo's and the ambiance was nice, staff friendly enough and we were having a great time until the bill came. My husband ordered two Grey Goose Greyhounds - a very simple drink with a call vodka, should be what, maybe $10 or $12 at most? The drinks were $17 each! Really? My husband was so shocked he went to the owner to comment, thinking perhaps it was a mistake. The owner's answer was "Hey, this is Napa." So, I love my town and all, but since when did we become so elitist that you name drop as if you are in Paris or something? And Grey Goose is not Dom Perignon after all. He handled it really poorly with a rather callous attitude and it left a very bad taste on what was otherwise a good night. We haven't paid $17 for a greyhound ANYWHERE including all the hottest bars in San Francisco, in fact, even the most creative, hand-made artisan cocktails in SF aren't that much. Perhaps we will go to Silo's for music and elsewhere for a reasonably priced cocktail afterwards.

Close your eyes and I'll kiss you, tomorrow I'll miss you... were the Beatles in Napa last weekend? Just buzzed through Napa, hit a few shops and wineries (favorite was Pure Cru Winery's tasting room - BRAND NEW!).  Napa's ONLY night club, Silo's, has a great GM - Keith Stansberry who plays up the host role like a pro - very inviting! The band was a TRIBUTE Band for the Beatles - and very well done!  LOVED the mansion (Wine Spectator Bldg) - photo op!  The River walk is really fun and the restaurants are, well, how can you critique Robert Keller and the fist full of NOTABLE world class Chefs that host NAPA, unless you are a great chef, yourself?  Try them when you visit the Bay area for America's Cup or any occassion - if you can get a reservation(?) or hit the Fish House restaurant on the corner of the River Walk by the 1st St. bridge - patio dining on a warm evening is very romantic...

    Silo's....
...loved it!  My lady got tickets to see Laurie Morvan; lead singer of a jazz band, and they were absolutely great.  I love great jazz; especially the songs that were written straight from the core of someone's experiences in life and Laurie nailed it.

Silo's was a fun venue.  The size was just right and there wasn't a bad seat in the house.  The drinks were good, I had dirty Martini's and the waitress always kept our glasses filled.  The menu selection for appetizers was short, but we had a readymade pepperoni pizza that was good actually.  So if you have time before the show, go for it.  Otherwise, the appetizers will work well until after the show and then you can head down the street to Morimoto's for more food... which we did.  Friggen awesome place... I suppose that should be my next post soon.

    Cheers

You need to come down here the first Friday of the month. They have open mic and it's a lot of fun. Trust me, I am not a karaoke fan and this place rocks.

Had so much fun there this past weekend. Great atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Friendly bartenders. The drink prices were a bit steep, but that's pretty much to be expected when you're in downtown Napa. They have cool LED backlit menus :)

Stopped in here for the first time a few weeks ago to see Anadel play. The ambience of the place is very nice and very intimate club setting. The music and the sound were great. The bar tender made us really yummy drinks we requested. A bit pricey but they were so strong we only needed one each! I would return if another good band played there.

My boyfriend and I came into Napa for my birthday and happened to hear about a Johnny Cash tribute band playing here. We managed to get the last seat in the packed house and I'm so glad we did! Awesome venue (very intimate), tasty (strong) drinks, and good service. Love this place!

This place is such garbage that a young man who deplores the yelp culture became a stereotype just to comment on the utter disappointment and disgrace this establishment is to the beautiful Napa Valley! Any place that treats, and allows their tourist patrons, to treat Napa natives who have been here since the infancy of the valley like trash has no right operating in our town. Not to mention their food and drink were entirely sub par and masked only by the pseudo wanna be fake jazz ambiance where slovenly hacks prentend their are cultural elite and try to run the show. It's time locals take pride in our home and tell these scum bags that we won't be treated poorly simply because we are not foreign money! Take pride in yourself Napa Valley and refuse  to patroniz this  place and other such blood hungry establishments who are only here to capitalize off the sweat of our brow

THEY RECENTLY GOT THEIR ALCOHOL LICENSE!  Yippeee!  To be honest I was wined out from having done so many tastings in Napa so to get non-wine alcohol was great!

The food was AMAZING!!!  I got a cheese and nuts plate and it was out of this world.  We also got the pepperoni pizza, and I thought it was some of the best pizza I have had.  It was made with local cheeses.  :)

The service was really good too, and Hall 1, a band, played there that night, and they were really really good.  I ended up buying their CD.

I would definitely go back.  :)

Small intimate place to have a light meal, some wine, and listen to great music. The crowd was very nice and into their music. We had a great time.

Right in the heart of historic downtown Napa..where else can you find great jazz music and a perfect glass of red zin? The manager is so attentive, he'll keep your glasses filled and make you feel comfortable you wouldn't want to leave. You can sing with the performers, tap your feet or even dance. Yes, go ahead and sway those hips. No one would mind. What a pleasure we had, 4 stars for Silo's! We will definitely be back!

This is such a cool little place.  I did not get see a show there but was taken on a tour.  While we were in there Terry Bradford was doing a sound check and busted out a little song and piano action for us.  SO amazingly talented!   I really want to come here for a show and some wine.  This is a super intimate place to see a show and have a great time.

Silo's is pretty amazing.  It was my first time to a jazz club and Silo's  definitely did not disappoint. The performer was amazing and the desserts we ordered were pretty good as well.  A little on the pricey side, but my date and I had an awesome time and we can't wait to go back!

Just happened to walk into Silo's during a private event for the hotel, and the hotel's owner welcomed us with open arms and open bar!  Very nice place, with a great patio!  I will definately be making a stop here next time I stay at the Napa River Inn.

Going there after dinner at Celedon.  Give you my impression of the place.
After dinner we went to the Silo. Cover was $5. Had a local latino band. They played covers with a latin influence. Pretty good, danceable. We would go back.

A group of friends and I found this place a few months ago and it looked like a classy younger (30's) crowd.  A fun place to talk, dance & sip wines.  I just took a group of friends there this past Friday and was so disappointed! The venue is truly classy and everyone was super friendly but wow it was like a childrens recital.  I thought that on a Friday night it would have a dance floor area and conversation tables as people tried their best to sing.  Not at all what was happening... Music was slow, sad and pitiful.  I used to work in a nursing home and that was just like the entertainment that was hired to perform.  Sorry, I wish I could rate my experience as better but now I wonder what the other performances are like.  Bummer, I was really looking for a classy place to go rather than the dumb bars with the loud drunk people.  Maybe I will try it one more time.  Please change the silly sing a long group to something else or maybe have that on the weekdays and fri and sat are more fun nights.

Friendly bartender. They have live music and because the place is so small it is very intimate. Great place for a date to sample wines and check out some music.

I have been meaning to come by this place since I returned to Napa a few months ago. I got to come in here on Friday night, and the music was great but I feel this review should be about the venue itself.

I called and made reservations about two hours before the show started and Keith the bar manager was incredible. The atmosphere of this place is great. It is very classy and intimate, not to mention their wine list is quite impressive. Although we didn't try any of the food they had options for a cheese platter and dessert for the evening.

There isn't much room for dancing, but after a couple bottles of wine, we found room in the walkway to shake our tail-feathers. The dim lighting, smooth jazz, and yummy wine are all a recipe for a night that will take you back in time. Thanks Silo's for a great night!

I've been able to come here often, due to the fact, I live in Napa. Last night they had a band I've heard before, Revolver doing a tribute to Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Amazing.

I not sure about the name of the place. I've heard Blues, Rock, Reggae, and a couple of weeks ago a band "Luv Planet" described themselves as  heavy mellow, they rocked the place.

I love this place and will continue to go again and again. Where else can you go in Napa, to sip wine, listen to good music, in a classy place, and reasonably priced too.

I was not impressed with Silos.

The greeter at the door was very nice but from there it  went downhill.

Once the room filled up the tables were too close together so whenever you moved your chair you hit someone else.  The food menu was ridiculous CheesePlate & Chips/Salsa - that's it!  The cheese plate was plain cheeses (cheddar, jack and a chunk of blue cheese) stale pecans and ritz crackers and a couple other things...dried apricots & small amount of grapes.  The chips/salsa tasted like they used a cheap bottled salsa.  The only dessert was a chocolate cake - one of our party was allergic to chocolate - but nothing else was available!  The wait staff after dropping off the food was non existent - he never came back by to check on us, get another drink order, refill a soda or coffee!  We had to get up and search out a server and ask 3 times before we got our water - which was near the end of the show!    The only thing that was good was the entertainment.

I will think twice before going there again - it will have to be the entertainment that pulls us in because the venue certainly will not.

    Loves it!

We accidentally happened upon Silo's as we were strolling around Napa's downtown waterfront area on a sunny Saturday, looking for a place to sip some wine and enjoy some music. Even though they weren't officially open, the bartender saw us staring at the menu on the door and invited us on in while the jazz group tuned up (so friendly!).

They have an *great* wine list if you want to try some more expensive wines by the glass rather than investing in the whole bottle - Stag's Leap, Chateau Montelena, etc. They do have a wide range of prices though and a full bar if you want to drink beer for instance, instead of high-end wines.

The live music is great, the food looked delicious (I didn't have any of it...but I saw a fruit and cheese plate go by that looked divine) and the staff is really lovely. Also key? Air conditioning. Some bars in Napa don't seem to have it, but Silo's is nice and chilly...crucial on those hot summer days!

This is a great place for a mellow night out in the wine country.  It's unique because there aren't a lot of places to hang out like this nearby.   Thank you on behalf of the Rancho Santa Fe Unit of Rady Children's Hospital Auxiliary.

I recently went to Silo's on a vacation with my wife. It was so pleasant we changed our plans to go back the next night. The first night had decent music and the second night a great band played. A good selection of wine for a venue like that, and I found the bottle prices to be similar to what you find in stores, much cheaper than usual in restaurants. The reason I give it 5 stars is that the service was above and beyond. We had reserved a table before hand. Once we were seated, the manager came over and introduced himself. Then the bartender came over to talk to us a little, and the joint was full as well. The next night we were treated like VIPs, and I'm still not quite sure why. I will definitely go back there every time I go to Napa.

Nice setting, friendly staff, decent service, drinks insanely expensive, food leaves a lot to be desired considering this place is in the heart of Napa.

So here we are a year or so later.  I let Keith know we would be in town and he put our name on the guest list (no cover).

This eve the Atmos Trio played, great group of guys..really talented.

Keith arranged for us to have a complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary :)

We then ordered and split some decadent chocolate cake type dessert that was outstanding!

Cleansed the pallet and went on to enjoy some vino.  Wife did the 06 Caymus and I went the Provenance Cabernet route.

    Great place..great people!
