Silver Corner Bar & Grill

Stopped for dinner. Walked into town from the Wallace Inn. Almost went elsewhere but the Yelp reviews reeled us in. The food was great. The local Loft beer was excellent. We had burgers but they were delicious and hit the spot. Friendly staff. Offered a beer tasting when Loft failed to ring a bell.

For what the 'Corner' is, they do an outstanding job. I try to go in once a week for breakfast. Everything is above average, bacon rocks, and whoever is on shift does work manning their comically small grill and bar at once. (don't let the size fool you, this place turns out diner food pretty fast.) Lunch and dinner are pretty rockin' here too. Rainier, bud light, and local brew from the two in-town breweries are regularly on the draft lines, and when any of the local festivals in town are going on the Corner is a good spot to be.

Good local cafe and bar. Looks like where the locals come for a drink and a burger. Last time I was here, the half-pounder with fries destroyed me even after a very grueling backpacking trip; very filling. The huckleberry shake was delicious.

Here for the second time I learned my lesson and I'm going with the regular hamburger w/o fries. This time the huckleberries are out of season so come around or after mid-August if you want a fresh huckleberry milkshake.

The only thing I didn't like was the smoking that carried over from the adjacent bar, but was willing to pay the price, again, for a good burger. The fries are pretty good too.
