Silver Dollar Saloon

We went here for dinner because it looked charming and historic.  We ordered sandwiches, Chicken salad and ham and cheese.  The sandwiches were tiny and served on the cheapest possible type of wheat bread.  The chicken salad sandwich came with the worst french fries I have ever eaten.  They were overdone and tough and had so much salt on them I could feel my arteries hardening.  I am NOT a picky eater and almost never leave food on my plate if it's edible.  This was not.  DON'T GO THERE TO EAT!!!!  It's the kind of place where you go to drink, throw up and go home.  The Ladies restroom was so disgusting the health department should be called.

Cool decor. Had a group of 7. Place wasn't busy. Took 15 minutes to get water brought after ordering drinks. Brought red solo cups and a pitcher of water. Food was sub par but came quick. One guy ordered chips instead of fries and they brought him a bag of ruffles. 2 Guys ordered bacon with burger, Wasn't brought until we asked and then only brought bacon for one guy.

Classic mountain town bar; good for food, beer & a shot.
