I spent a couple nights hanging at this place, it was lots of fun, nice staff and great price on drinks! I would move to green mountain falls just to marry the owner! :) Anyway... Great place!

Tis place is under new management and is called the Glue Moose Tavern. Great beers, pizza and staff.

Great little pit stop on way back from mountains.  Nice view of the pond, good prices on drinks, hors d'oeuvres and peanuts.  Who doesn't like peanuts and beer!  They also have a great patio area for those splendid sunny days!  Enjoy and stay thirsty my friends!

    What a shit hole.
We stopped by here to see the Cracker show and wished we hadn't. This place is an absolutely awful venue.  Their sound guys don't know what they are doing (Note to the owner: just because they know what a mixing board is does not mean they know how to use it). We totally would have asked for our money back on the concert but I know we would have been wasting our breath. All of the food being served was deep fried or pizza. We opted to go with the deep fried platter (which was marginal at best) because while the pizza smelled appetizing it looked like a greasy under cooked wad of dough.

    My advice:
If you are thinking about going for some live music don't. Your ears will thank you. If you are just in the area and hungry don't stop, just keep looking.

This place was a great place to catch some live music.
The crowd was friendly and atmosphere was filled with enchanting spirits.
On a regular day, this is also an amazing place to grab a bite to eat.

Holy crap! Pizza and wings here are insanely good. My favorite around the Springs.

You know how after a butt-kicking hike where you sweat like a pig, can hardly breathe, and ache all over, a beer, ANY BEER seems like the elixir of life?

My buddy and I "attempted" to hike up Catamount Trail (north of Manitou Springs, Colorado) but apparently took the "long route" and didn't know it. I, being more rotund than my companion, made it about 2/3'rd up the trail and said, "Screw it," leaving my companion to jog the rest of the way up the mountain. Finally, she too, got winded, came back down and we headed back to where we parked which was conveniently located next to this saloon.

Apparently, this joint used to be known as the Pine Gables Stray Dog Saloon, and it allegedly boasts the best poppers around. But I was too thirsty for food.

I loved this place. One of my more favorite Colorado dives, a biker bar, with lots of wood and rusticness. So far, the yuppies haven't invaded it, and I hope it stays this way.

Judging by the numerous bar band posters, it gets quite a variety of acts from blues, to traditional rock to reggae. I'll be back to this great place.

    You can count on that.
