Simple Taste Grill and Catering

Stopped in this morning at Simple Taste Grill and Catering for a lazy breakfast.  I was a good two hours early for a meeting that I had scheduled in Canton when I spotted this place.  I needed to kill a couple of hours and had a strong desire for pancakes, so it seemed to be a perfect match.

As the name suggests, there is nothing fancy or difficult to pronounce on the menu.  No fois gras on toast points here.  However, they seem to have perfected the American budget breakfast.  I had pancakes, which were light and tasty, yet just "cakey" enough to feel like they were sticking to my bones.  The bacon was cooked at that perfect place that lies between soggy and burned.   My coffee cup was never in any danger of drying out.  My thirst for knowledge was also satisfied, by their great Wi-Fi signal.

If you ever find  yourself hungry for breakfast in Canton NC, I strongly suggest that you get yourself to Simple Taste.

Parking is ample, dinning room is clean and well appointed, bathrooms are tidy, free wi-fi, menu is very modestly priced.
