The Smokehouse BBQ

Right at the intersection of Highways 57 and 194, and across the street from a Blues history historical marker, this joint is a true BBQ crossroads in Rossville.

They are the first place ever I've heard of to offer BBQ nacho sandwiches. I didn't try it though, But I wanna go again and do that. The place is decorated with coca-cola paraphenelia and local high school football jerseys.

I tried the BBQ sandwich and it was excellent! The meat was good, the bread was soft and well prepared. The slaw was awesome and heavy on the vegetables. I could actually taste and see the carrots.

A great joint. I shall return.
