  Nice little bar for lunch.  The burger baskets are good value and the bartender is great.  Not too smokey at lunchtime but sometimes the jukebox can get a bit loud.

  Burgers are big, but dry, no flavor, no seasoning...its not no Frans or Dans burger. Good deal on the basket though.

  Snuffy's Bar and Grill has gone from great to not so great to great again...I'm a fan of their food and love the bar, but the smoking allowed inside is just too much for the little building to handle. If the smoke levels were better this place would be an easy five star establishment, but being allergic to smoke, it gets just four from me. The old Snuffy's I used to eat at regularly when I moved to Hutto in 2004 wasn't smoky, why does the new and improved Snuffy's have to be? Install something to filter the air better and you'll see more locals return.

  Great hamburgers. Only problem is that it allows smoking so not a good place if you don't like that. If you're a smoker, best place in hutto.

  Since I live in Taylor, I've always passed this little bar on the way home through Hutto but never stopped to check it out. We had a "buy one , get one free" coupon for their hamburgers, so we decided to stop in. I LOVE THIS PLACE. The building itself was built around the turn of the century with a great deal of history attached to it. In the early 1900's, it was a mortuary for the town. The mortician kept his horse-drawn hearse in the building.  Our waitress told us of some paranormal activity that has occurred there which made it even more interesting. It was also a potato chip factory where they sold bags of chips for a nickel. We went on a Wednesday which happens to be karaoke night with an all- night happy hour.Our waitress warned us that Wednesdays are usually the most craziest  night of the week. Karaoke and cheap all night happy- hour beer probably has a lot to do with that.  They have the ever present electronic dart board along with several flat screens to watch sports. The crowd was pretty fun- loving and friendly. The clientele consists of a several  bikers who looked like dentists, groups of after-work laughing women and the usual american idol wannabes. Our waitress was fantastic and greeted us with a smile. We felt immediately welcomed there. The burgers were huge with the bun lightly toasted. Burgers are hand packed daily, including the hearty pig burger ($5.50) that features fresh, thick country ham cuts on top of a one-third pound ground beef patty. The chef makes the pulled pork ($4) daily in a slow cooker from a house recipe, along with the grilled chicken for the chicken nachos ($4.50)--a stack of tortilla chips loaded with tender chicken, red peppers, jalapeños, guacamole, sour cream and light queso. I believe they have bands on Thursdays and Saturday. I would suggest to management to get a website and update your Facebook page. Then again, I may want this cool bar and grill to be a secret.  My wife and I met some great people, shared some laughs and had a great time. We will be making plans to come back again.

  I love you snuffys....thank you for asking me if I need another beer without me having to ask....even on a Sat night. Automatic 5 stars. Such a dive bar which is awesome for Hutto.
