  I'm a Californian with Arkansas roots. Although things have changed slightly in the past decade there are precious few Sonic Drive-Ins.  After visiting my family but before taking wing back to the west coast I just had to try Sonic!  I read about it as a case study in business school. I had spied this particular Sonic on my previous visit to Carlisle. As I hiked down the highway to Hickory Plains I drove into the little parking slip, buzzed and placed my order.
  
  They were polite, fast, meticulous & good.
  The cheese fries were lovely
  The bread is amazing
  The tater-tots were better than I remember a tater-tot ever having been
  
  Obviously I paused my diet, no not Atkins, while on vacation.
