Southern Flavor

Deeeee-licious.  Really.  A classis "meat and three" type place with a rotating menu of meats and veggies (but with daily standbys like steak and gravy and catfish).  The catfish was by far the best I've ever tasted: fresh, flaky, and crunchy outside without being greasy.  My mom, typically a harsh mac 'n cheese critic, raved about their version.  Too bad it's not on the menu every day!

Southern Flavor started in Cedartown and just opened this Cave Spring branch in September 2013.  It's already packed at lunch, but food still comes out fast and hot.  The location has an awkward layout--which dogged the previous restaurant here--but the folks of Southern Flavor have definitely made some improvements and spruced it up.  F

Definitely a place to go every week, and the best lunch option in town!  For those not familiar with Cave Spring, Southern Flavor is located on the main corner of town--there is no big sign up yet, just a decal in the window.
