Southern Soul Restaurant and Lounge

Nice place with potential. Gizzards were great, catfish nuggets were ok but not really "nuggets" just small fillet. Menu is limited, had fried chicken it was quite tasty, the greens were perfectly cooked but under seasoned. Southern cooking and no bacon in the greens!!! Will go back for another try the music is good and drinks not over priced. Hopefully the will expand the menu.

We are here on a Monday and it wasn't very busy. The staff was courteous and the food was served fast and hot. The catfish bites were amazing. The liver and onions was probably some of the best I've ever had and the cornbread is to die for. Highly recommend this little gem.

Really tasty food! We had tasty sides, catfish, yummy spicy catfish sauce, fried chicken, and spicy greens. Great friendly service. This place would totally be a staple if we lived in Florida. Wish we were able to hangout for one of their jazz nights, looks like it would be a ton of fun with people that know how to have a good time
