Spanky's Pizza Shop & Restaurant

The pizza was good, but the staff gave me a horrible experience. I am 21 as of a few months ago, and because I have an enhanced I.D. It is vertical and not expired and they refused to serve me a beer.

When it's 8:00 p.m. in Fremont and pizza is wanted, there aren't many choices.  This is the place I chose because it was one that seemed to be favored by locals.  The crowded parking lot seemed to augur a tasty pie.  What I got instead was a veggie pizza with a dry crust, gloppy cheese and nondescript toppings.

Perhaps some of their other dishes are better but I'm inclined not to try again.  Contrary to Jacqueline Susann, sometimes once is enough.

Everyone always talks about how great the bread sticks are, but I'm a huge fan of their pizza. The pizza is the best I've found sound far in the area. The bread sticks are good, but I think they are a little to salty. The lunch buffet is really good and they have a great family deal.
